Adalius Thomas and Eric Steinbach
Quote from a poster watching NFL Huddle today...
If we could toss in a Nate Clements since he is supposed to be an easy signing for the Browns we'd be in a good position going into the draft...
Two stars from the best two teams in the division...the Bengals High Octane Offense and the Ravens smothering Defense...I like it..

Was listening to ESPN's "The Huddle" today for a little bit. They were discussing a number of things, including where potential FA might sign.
I don't know his name, he's the co-host of the show with John Clayton and from the Cleveland area, but he said that the Browns will be trying to sign both Adalius Thomas and Steinbach.
He said that there are two main teams that are going to go after Adalius Thomas hard: San Fransisco and Cleveland. The reason he might go to SF is because they have the most cap space and his old coach Mike Nolan.
But he also said Adalius Thomas has a great relationship with Savage. According to him, Savage was a big part in Thomas' life since high school, and was responsible for the Ravens drafting him. Maybe Savage can do it again for us.
As far as Steinbach goes, he just said that Cleveland has been lying low, but as soon as FA starts, they are going to make a big push for him.
On a separate note, I know most of you want us to get that guard from SD, Dielman? He mentioned that Seattle has a huge man-crush on this guy, and are going to get him come-hell-or-high water, mainly to replace the loss from Hutchinson from last year. Guess they missed him. That would explain why the Browns would concentrate on Steinbach instead of Dielman?
