He just plays so timid and it's compounded by how robotic he is offensively. I'm not as high on Jarrett as most around here, but at least he attacks the rim with bad intentions. I'm beyond tired of Mobley not being able to get a 3 foot floater over the front of the rim.

The idea that you could be that tall and long and not be trying to dunk everything in sight is wild to me. You also are never going to get a decent whistle when you play the way he does.

He desperately needs a new staff in place to push his development along. I'd love for him to be a 3 point threat, but I'd much rather him not be a bitch in the paint. Not sure what JB and his guys have put in his head these last few years, but it isn't working.

Are you saying he's a 7 foot incel? I don't agree, I think he's tapping that ass whenever he wants. But the thought is funny AF.
Very likely but he's probably indulging too much and is just not sharp between the eats as a result and becomes a fumbler with the ball.

Jarrett also looks like Hakeem with his footwork and short hooks if you compare him to mobley who at this point needs a dunk or an uncontested layup for you to be confident that he will make that shot.

His screens are a problem. Suggs and guards are pushing him out the way. I do like the one time he got tired of Suggs pushing him and flattened him on the screen. That’s how you’re supposed to screen

let’s give him a go with an actually basketball mind at the helm, not he will never succeed under JB
this is where I am..

the next coach needs to have an offensive focus. I need a Kings like makeover with the way the offense is supposed to run.

Pretty tough when the only play ever called for him in three years is a clear out iso when that doesn't match up with his skill set. His lack of development is the thing that scared me the most keeping the JBB give it to a guard and pray offense for another year.

I've seen development in his game around the rim, where he's developed a smooth spin game and patient pump fake. He still doesn't have confidence going through defenders and I'm not sure that's ever going to come. I love his vision from the pinch post, but he's still making the "right play" by passing to shooters who unfortunately can't shoot.

It's unfortunate that the team was complicit in hyping him so much that he's now on the receiving end of understandable backlash. He's on track, and hopefully the coach next year can play to his strengths. A more offensively polished Adebayo would be a great goal for him next year.
