I am in Pilot. Registered this morning. Let the games begin.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

CavsPilot, how did you set up the scoring, Basic or PPR? What about the rosters, are they 2RB ans 3WR or 2RB, 2WR and 1Flex? Also, draft, can we try to set it up for a weekday evening?

I realise that draft day is going to be hard to coordinate for 10 guys. I was hoping the night of the 28th (FRI) would work. Can you swing that?

I am up for a weekday evening except Friday. That will not work for me. I am good the evening of the 24th 25th,26th and 27th of August and I can do it the evening of Sept 7th, 8th, and 9th.

I also can not do the 28th. But I'm with WUJU on those dates, preferably after 8 if that is feasible for all.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

I can do most evening aslong as it's not to late as im 5 hours ahead of you guys :D

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

As for the draft, I can't make it from Aug 17th->Aug 22nd.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays...I can't make a draft that runs past 8:30 EST, but if the start time is at 5 or 6, I could make it.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

Sounds like Thursday the 27th is the date we are now shooting for. List of guys who can make the date are:

-cavspilot
-slick (my bro)
-WUJU
-Boobie
-LeJohn
-kblade

As for the time, clearly we can't make everyone happy as some of you have to be done by 8P and some of you want to start at 8P.

Any suggestions for setting a draft time on the 27th? I have no preference.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

I am free all day, so I am flexible on the time.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

Also as a suggestion for the draft, we could do a tiny chat and set a time limit in between picks.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

Im going to be on vacation on the 27th but i dont have a problem setting my rankings and letting the cpu draft for me on auto. I can trade later, if i dont get what I want. I might be able to get on line and do the draft if things go good. Either way im good.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

I usually work weekday evenings until 8 but I am sure I can switch shifts if need be. Jusy need to know ASAP.

kblade, can you PM me with you email - I need to send you the link to join the league.

Yes, there will be a time limit for picks. Prob 90 seconds for first 2 rounds, then 60 sec for the rest. We will keep a good pace. This should keep the draft to around 2 hours.

If you could do that, it would be great. We will def lock up the 27th as the date if that's the case. We now have 6 of the 10 guys who can make that date- hopefully the other 4 will be happy with that - we can't accomodate all.

Due to London's +5 time diff, I'm hoping a 6:30-7:30PM EST start time will work for all.

Keep using this tread to inform the league of what works for you individually. I'm not making the decisions, just mediating.

Re: Fantasy Football 2009

Also, I would really appreciate it if we can get our draft orders established soon, I'd like to run a few mocks and get a 10 team strategy.

As for the buy in. Are we doing $30? If so we should work out the payouts. Maybe $120 for super bowl winner, $60 for the runner up, $90 for 1st in total points and $30 for 2nd in total points? Or do you have something else in mind?
