I think his miss in game 3 of the finals last year is haunting him a bit, and he wants a shot at redemption.
He also knows his window is limited.

37 yo Korver is the 3rd best(sometimes 2nd depending on how Love wakes up) player on the roster, in 2018. Kind of sums up the issues.
That's because Lue has chosen not to play Cedi. If he had been developed properly this year he's our third best player. I said that earlier in the season and after watching the garbage trotted out during the playoffs I still believe it. Lue is a Moron.

Really wish Korver was like 26 or something ?

His misses are annoying because you expect them to drop but I really wish this dude wasn’t retiring soon..

Give Korver to Bron in his first stint and we win a Championship imo!

I'm not too sure about this. We had some very good shooters with our guards and LeBron basically refused to play PF in his first stint. The problem was we didn't have a good stretch 4. Even when we got Antwan Jameson, if you look at his 3 point percentage it's NBA average to slightly below average. I do think Korver would have helped but without LeBron moving to PF to open up minutes for Korver, it would have been a good shooter getting move out of the rotation for a slightly better shooter.

Where would we be without him? Any bets?

The guy is 37 years old, our "designated marksman", yet had three blocks (!) plus a possession-saving dive for a ball. A pure professional.

It's really fun to watch guys like that make pure hustle plays. Hill had one of those when he wrestled away that ball then bounced it off a Celtic to retain possession. Nance and TT both had those same kind of plays. That's all the little stuff we just didn't seem to do in the first two games.
