Farewell, Timofey Mozgov

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Mozgov looked better tonight, 5/9 shooting and 11 rebounds. I thought we used him really well, and he wasn't as much of a liability match-up wise as was speculated. Could change next game, but he looked good tonight.
He's had 8 offensive boards combined in his last 2 games, I believe, which has really helped us control the games.

I like the Mozgov vs Horford matchup it favors us imo.

mozy can cause problems for horford with his great size and length especially in the rebounding department

Mozzy played well tonight, finished some tough shots around the rim tonight.

I've noticed they seem to be featuring him a lot in the first quarter, kind of the way we force fed a lot of touches to Kevin Love in q1. Mozgov finally hit one of his midrange set shot thingies, which is nice. He did look pretty decent out there imo. There's gonna be times when Horford or Milsap make him look dumb, but there's also going to be plays where he alters or blocks shots.

Moz is playing exactly how we need him to play. He's a force in the paint and not allowing the Hawks to shoot good shots if and when they do get in there. You can clearly see Teague and others driving in the paint and then dribble out of the paint because Moz is there. He's doing a damn good job on Horford and even greeting him above the foul line. He runs the floor. He rebounds. He's been important to the wins.

He is very very mobile for a guy his size which has really helped quite a bit. I thought Horford would go right by him to be honest, but Timo has closed out while denying penetration like a champ.

wtf? How hard are they practicing?

Why is there any contact at all in practices in the playoffs? They should be nothing more than glorified shootarounds at this point of the season. jfc
