Farewell, Timofey Mozgov

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I just called him out on Twitter, lol.

I seriously thought (@mozg25) was the real Mozgov when I first followed it.

We need Mozgov on Twitter though.
Yeah this account has a lot of verified guys fooled like Erick Green of the Nuggets and David Aldridge. I reported the bitch running the account for impersonating Moz. I wonder why he doesn't actually have a Twitter though.

Yeah, just wondering how could he become professional player without developing such basic skill like catching the ball

Many players went to college and pro solely on the ability to dunk. Moz provides obstructing size, rebounding, and D which is enough for a center.

Moz's hands are not bad. He struggles with low passes sometimes, but that's more to do with how tall he is and unfamiliarity with the team. He actually has pretty good hands in my opinion. Anything that gets served to him at chest level or above is usually easily handled.

It's a very common problem with tall guys... if you dont pass the ball high enough they'll simply loose it... at least in europe, not sure how american center cope with that... Moz is a european player after all

If you're a 7 foot guy getting short interior passes from a 6'2 guard then a lot of them are not going to hit you in the chest. He really has stone hands for any pass below his chest delivered in motion.

Mozgov is currently +16.6 point per 100 possessions for the Cavs. Only Curry is better at +16.7.

Since the Lakers game on Jan. 15th, he's an aggregate +323 on court.

Out of those 27 games, he's had 23 PLUS games (including games of +40, +29, +25, +25, +25, +21, +19, +19, +18), 3 minus games, and one neutral game.

Mozgov and LeBron have played 530 minutes together on court. They are +22.7 points per 100 possessions together, the best duo in the NBA.

Mozgod has been a godsend.

This is great but in fairness it's partly because Blatt is so aggressive in pulling him and sitting him whenever the other team is starting to victimize him on pick and rolls.

1) Chances we rest him in the 4th to save him for the postseason?
2) I keep meaning to post in here that my only real issue with him is that he has comparable hands to Braylon Edwards.

It could very well be a way for Blatt to not run him into the ground. I mean, the dude only averaged what 20 minutes a game for Denver? It's not a terrible idea to sort of ease him into extended minutes instead of simply dropping him into the deep end of the pool right off the bat, although I agree that the minutes probably could be spread out a bit more.

Thing is he was playing a lot more minutes when he first got here. It's not the lack of minutes, but the lack of important minutes. There have been games where we were down in the 4th and need Mozgov there. But he's played almost no minutes in the 4th.
