My predictions for the night...
Becky Lynch Vs. Sasha Banks
This match just got added to the pre-show. This one is actually a tough call. The show is in Sasha's hometown of Boston, but the women's division seems to be gearing up Becky for a feud with Charlotte after tonight's show. I'd pick Sasha here, but Becky makes more sense if they are going with her and Charlotte in a program after TLC. Honestly, this one really could go either way depending on who they push against Charlotte next. I'm gonna go with Becky because that seems to be the way they're going.
Winner: Becky Lynch
The Wyatt Family Vs. Team ECW - Tables Elimination Match
Ironic that the Wyatts get the Survivor Series match they deserve a month late. I mean, is there any way the Wyatts don't win this? If they lose, might as well just remove them from the WWE because they are completely fucking useless. Dreamer and Rhyno are veteran jobbers and the Dudleys came back to the WWE to put young guys over, as seen by the fact that they haven't gotten a title reign yet. The Wyatts NEED this win.
Winner: The Wyatt Family
Alberto Del Rio (c) Vs. Jack Swagger - US Title Chairs Match
Thankfully the WWE decided to scrap the awful MexAmerica gimmick, but it makes this match more than a little pointless since they are effectively fighting over Zeb and he's no longer aligned with either guy. Whatever. No one was going to give a shit about this match either way. Zero chance Del Rio drops the belt so soon after coming back. Also, the chairs stipulation is the worst. Just make it a fucking street fight or hardcore match or whatever.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
Charlotte (c) w/ Ric Flair Vs. Paige w/ Paige's Push-up Bra - Women's Title Match
This match has basically become a heel versus heel match I guess. Do they do a double turn and make Paige a face in this one? Seems kind of silly after she made fun of Charlotte's dead brother a few weeks ago, but Vince probably assumes we've all forgotten about that by now since the WWE pretends it never happened. Charlotte looks to be entering a program with Becky going forward, so it really doesn't make sense to have Charlotte drop the belt.
Winner: Charlotte
The New Day (c) Vs. The Usos Vs. The Lucha Dragons - Tag Team Title Ladder Match
Well, this one should be fun at least. The New Day are the hottest act in the WWE right now and are selling merchandise like mad. For that alone, I don't see them losing the belts. Then again, the WWE really has a hard-on for the Usos despite the fact that they're boring as fuck and have absolutely zero singles potential, so they may give them the belts anyway. In the end, though, I think Vince thinks with his wallet here.
Winner: The New Day
Kevin Owens (c) Vs. Dean Ambrose - Intercontinental Title Match
Sure would have been nice if the most intriguing match on the card had a stipulation on a PPV filled with them, huh? I'm torn by what the WWE is going to do here. Owens has been having a good run with the IC title, making it relevant again. He's also really over for a heel and arguably the best healthy worker the WWE has at present. Ambrose is the most over guy in the company that can suit up, although he's not nearly as good of a worker as Owens. I think Owens will retain, probably by either DQ or cheating. I don't think these guys are done yet. My guess would be Owens cheats to win, then wins the rubber match at the Rumble and enters into an IC title program with Sami Zayn heading to 'Mania.
Winner: Kevin Owens
Sheamus (c) Vs. Roman Reigns - TLC World Title Match
Is it just me, or is the TLC stipulation wasted on two guys who are effectively brawlers? This match type would have been a much better fit for more dynamic guys like Owens and Ambrose. Honestly, the stupid chairs match might have worked here since these guys are probably just gonna beat the hell out of each other. Hell, just make it a street fight and they'd probably do more with it than they will with a TLC match type. Regardless, it's hard for me to see the WWE giving Roman Reigns his first legitimate title win at the most meaningless PPV of the year, especially with a brutal Philly crowd awaiting him tomorrow for Raw.
Winner: Sheamus
---
My main concern with my prediction is that there are zero title changes. Granted, this PPV doesn't matter and WWE clearly hasn't given a shit about it, but it still seems weird to not have any title swaps. The New Day seem the most primed to drop their belts if someone has to, although the WWE may just say fuck it and give Reigns the world title on the night where no one is watching.
What's sad is that this card really isn't all that bad. The WWE has just done such a piss-poor job of building up any of these matches that the whole card feels totally insignificant.
