Fastlane Tonight - in Cleveland!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Shocking ending. Not a huge Rollins fan, but WAYYY better than the alternative ending that was coming.

I thought, there is no way Sting loses. Well after I saw how they positioned it, WCW vs WWE. There is no way Vince would let WCW beat WWE.
Everyone shuda seen this coming. With the way WWE treated WCW guys when they went to WWE (Scott Steiner, Booker T, Ron Simmons, Goldberg) and how they relegated the WCW world heavyweight title to the secondary title, WWE would never let WCW win anything! especially not in Wrestlemania

Anyways, this Wrestlemania was great though. The Sting/HHHH match was great aside from the finish and I loved that Rollins won the title!

This was why I thought Triple H was going to win. Nevermind the fact that the sledgehammer is the proverbial shovel, but I didn't foresee Vince letting WCW reign supreme on Mania.

In retrospect he should have just waited for Cena to enter and then gunned him down with the light machine gun. The crowd probably would have preferred that ending.

If it were a no-DQ match that would've been plausible.

And Goldberg only won the title because it was written into his contract. Trips quickly went back into his reign of terror after the small Goldberg title run.

You think a few bullets gonna stop Cena?

That was definitely one of the best Manias in recent memory. I don't give an eff about Cena and knew what was going to happen so it didn't bother me. Undertaker was a lot better than I expected and Wyatt had some good moments. That bridge crawl/Dead Man sit up was great. I can see Wyatt being a top heel, but he needs to be booked better. All of his matches have set him up for failure. The ladder match was really good. The powerbomb onto the ladder. Holy shit... Triple H and Sting hit me right in the feels. Are you ready? Then the NWO theme... It's funny because X Pac was in the NWO, Nash/Triple H are bros. Michaels coming out was killer too. I didn't see that coming. All I have to say about Rollins and Randy is that was the most Super Mario RKO ever. Seth bounced off a koopa and got RKOed.

I loved the final match because they clearly booked Brock as a monster. It took a near concussion and a whole lot of blood to get him down to Reigns' level. Reigns had his Cena moment but when Rollins' music hit and they made it a triple threat I knew they had hit gold. They didn't let Brock get pinned. I think after months of just screwing fans over, we got pretty much everything we could ask for. This is what it's like for them to do what the fans want...

Sidenote - When The Rock talked about Rousey skipping rope with Steph's fallopian tube, I fell off the couch laughing. That guy doesn't even need to wrestle. Just give him a mic. Let him do commentary when he doesn't want to act anymore.

Sting and Taker both set to be on Raw so let's see if there's some sort of holy shit confrontation.

If Taker is on raw, watch for some sort of gimmicky buried alive/casket match against Wyatt at the next ppv. They couldn't let Taker lose two Mania's in a row, but they can make Wyatt huge by putting Taker away at any PPV.

Maybe they'll do a match where if Taker loses he has to retire? They gave him one last Wrestlemania win and now he can lose at a less important PPV and retire. That's assuming, of course, that he's ready to retire.

Taker almost certainly is going to wrestle at next years Wrestlemania because it's in Texas. That is widely seen as the last match for him.

I really didn't dig that final match, shame.
