I will say, if Obama is elected president, I demand that Kavdawg be forced to "spread the wealth" of his ridiculously high GPA, to those of us who are less fortunate in that regard.

Im getting sick of all the fearmongering going on from the right wing extremists and corporate media about all these terrible things that will happen when Obama becomes President.
Take a look around. Can things get any worse than they are right now and it's primarily a direct result of the Republican philosophy and Republican policies. It would be nice to see the right wing take some goddamn responsibility for once rather than always place blame elsewhere, engage in nonstop disgusting personal campaign attacks, distort and distract with nonsense issues and nonexistent relationships that have zero to do with the real issues and decisions to be made or have any actual impact on the everyday lives of Americans.
Yes Democrats did play a role in the current financial crisis but not the primary role.

You're a failure and have nothing to run on if you have to count on hate and fear and your campaign is based on BS like Ayres, "spread the wealth", immature namecalling, and an ignorant fraud like Joe the plumber.

There is no way that with a week before the election and every poll indicating that Obama is comfortably ahead in both the popular and electoral vote that McCain will win this election. If McCain does win than it will not be legitimate and would be a sad sign that American democracy as we've known it is dead.

I honestly can't wait until this election is over. The anger, which I can feel too, needs to end. Hopefully we can get campaigns to be shorter and stop being filled with so much hate and negativity.

Fixed.

Come on Narls, that works both ways. How about the Dems take some credit for their failures? The entire campaign has been IT'S ALL BUSH'S FAULT....and that's utter garbage. What has Pelosi's congress done after all their promises? We are much worse off than we were 2 years ago. Nonstop disgusting personal attackes? I agree. (see- "Is Sarah Trig's mom or grandmother?", "Sarah wanted to ban Harry Potter from the Library", "Sarah was for succession", "Sarah backed anti-semite Buchanan", "Sarah had an affair with Todd's bestfreind...who he still owns half of a cabin with").

I'm not trying to fearmonger...the election is over and nothing is going to change that. I'm just giving my honest opinions based on my interactions with the hundreds of company owners my salesmen and I deal with closely. They are scared of an Obama regime paired with Pelosi's congress. Many companies I deal with have already started laying people off because of the election...these are companies that have had fantastic success the last 8 years. Idiots like Barney Frank saying things like "we don't need fancy weapons....we're going to cut defense spending by 25%" has companies in Northern Ohio terrified...this isn't fear mongering it is fact. Many of my customers have frozen their budgets and cancelled projects...this is fact...i can show you some of the cancellations if you want. I have a dozen people that have their companies for sale that wouldn't have done so if McCain was elected. They want to get out before the cap gains taxes....this is a fact.
Ohio being a forced unionization state is going to feel a lot more pain here real soon.

If it angers you stop following the election....you won...sit back and wait for the rewards and change you have been promised.

Just got my 5th robocall this week. This last one 30 minutes ago was to invite me to the McCain/Palin rally at Mentor High School (the other robocalls told me about how awful Obama was and how he's associated with terrorists). I wonder if they'll start yelling chants of "radical Muslim extremist!" if I show up. :chuckles:

Edit: I forgot to add, this isn't any ordinary rally...this is a "victory" rally ;)

We need Mccain right now. If Obama is elected, alot of people will be out of jobs.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about?

Obama will create jobs through energy initiative and infrastructure improvements. Do you realize how much this country benefits from infrastructure improvements? Look what railroads did, they accounted for 5% of the nations GDP at their peak. Highways have given so much back. I guess, you just ignore this.

I actually don't remember Obama saying it was Bush's fault... can you link me to this please?

Sorry, but the world will not end under Obama. People will make money, are you sure these companies are backing out because of the election or because the economy is crap right now?
