I just took a stroll thru downtown on my lunch and it was ridiculous. I got right up to Jay Crawford at the ESPN/Sportscenter tent. Close enough to say a few words. Saw SAS, Windy and walked right past Legler. Met Nate Forbes as he was just walking about on E. 4th. ESPN is atop Red' the Steakhouse as well. The TNT stuff was still empty, but it'll be a party.

The atmosphere downtown is amazing.

I saw Michelle Knight as well, randomly strolling with her "bodyguard". How crazy is it that this is probably going to be the first time she sees a LeBron James Cavs game...? I mean, minuscule in the grand scheme of things, but she was definitely enjoying herself.

if you are a West/South sider, you can cut through the industrial Flats to get out of downtown. You can avoid most of the InnerBelt congestion as well

I enjoyed listening to local radio while driving in for the game. Lots of songs about "home", "wait is over", "welcome back, welcome back", "the waiting is the hardest part". Last-minute giveaways. Beyonce and Jay-Z medleys since they're in town.

Plus it's a totally beautiful fall day.
