If they lose a really close game on a last second play? Nah, I can see them staying ahead of us and quite frankly think they should stay ahead of us. They've got the better resume, they won our division, and they beat us at home.

EDIT: If they were to get dominated by Iowa, that would be different.

USC beating Stanford would also be good just to be safe.

Yea, this is my point. Out of the two possibilities, that's definitely the one we should root for.

The people voting are just like you and me, and I know if I were on the committee and MIchigan State were to lose in heartbreaking fashion to Iowa and my choice was between them or OSU for the last spot, I'm voting Michigan State ahead.

The absolute best scenario would be for Michigan State to pound the hell out of Iowa. If that happens and Florida wins, Ohio State gets in.
