Game 12 | Cavs (8-3) vs. Bucks (5-6) | November 19th, 2015 | 8:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The worst outcome ot the night (besides Moz injury): GSW worked hard to win and tomorrow it seems like the Bulls are gonna be those who stop them. Wait for that false hype after that.

Meh, color me semi-impressed? Maybe I have become jaded but I kept expecting a lull with a Bucks rally, and low and behold, that happened.

Obviously it is hard to maintain a double digit lead on any NBA team but it got too close for comfort and that is when I want to see this team go for the jugular. They eventually knocked them out but it was in the 4th quarter, go for the kill early on.

Thing that stood out to me was doubling the Bucks on rebounds. The Bucks are a long team, that is impressive to do that. Honorable mention to 29 assists and 13 of those coming from Delly. The ball movement was there, it just shows glimpses of what this team will be able to do when fully healthy.

Yes the refs actually called the fouls this game true, whereas usually the rough up strategy causes the refs to eventually just back off and let it go. However the problem is calling fouls doesn't really stop teams from doing the strategy either. Roughing can be quite effective and allow a team to compete when otherwise they'd go blown out.

And again, its our guys who get put at risk here. And for some reason the Cavs seem to face this much more than other teams.

I can't believe you'd be so lenient after we pretty much lost a damn championship over this very issue. You are a better man than I am I guess.
..

What the hell do you want them to do? Execute people who play rough?

There has been an incredibly annoying amount of bitching about reffing in the game threads this year. For a fan base that used to complain about all the calls LeBron and the boys in Miami used to get to now complain that LeBron gets zero calls ever.......it's really a sight to behold. Do you actually think the league just Cleveland, or are we maybe being a little too biased here?

/yawn

Easy win

Bucks are who we thought they were

I honestly can't believe people are complaining about this after THIS game, wherein the refs decided to call Milwaukee for about 10 touch fouls in the first two minutes of the 4th quarter. Of all the games to bitch about the reffing, this ain't one.

There multiple times that LeBron gets hacked driving to the basket, and the refs swallow their whistles. Some of those happen at critical junctures. Happened last night at the end of the first half last night. The difference between being up 19 vs. 15. Which is the difference between being in the game, and out of the game.

Also that horrible foul call at the end of the 1st half on JR. The guy stuck his elbow out to hit JR and JR gets the foul called on him. A free two points at the end of the half.

First off I never once complained about the calls Miami got so please don't project that onto me. Actually, objectively speaking here, they've clearly made it a reality that LeBron is allowed to be hacked harder and more on average than pretty much every other player, and that started getting worse in Miami. So calling it every time he's hacked and the ref clearly sees it would be a nice start. Because let's be honest here, he's being stifled from his true potential as a player, his averages would be up across the board and these actions against him may cost him years of his career down the line. This shit may come back to haunt us in the worst way so just remember you were one of the ones being 'nice' about it not wanting to criticize anyone and pretend it doesn't even happen.

And now let me be honest Rich. I don't really know what the refs should specifically do beyond calling the fouls they see. But I do watch a lot of games around the NBA, have been a longtime fan and I can see what I can damn well see. The fact of the matter is we get roughed up way, way more than teams in the West do and more than every team in the East for sure. And I don't see why I should try to pretend its all good and doesn't even happen.

One thing I know for sure is this mentality carried over into the playoffs and it destroyed an entire freaking NBA finals and messed up a team with a 50 year championship drought. That is a serious offense and if its allowed to continue this year this same thing is gonna happen again, and if you're okay with that I don't know what else to say.

That was an absolutely horrible call. People should get fined for that call.

With LeBron, I think that refs just think: "LeBron is strong. He can take it." That's not the point! If he draws significant contact, it's a foul! Part of the IDEA is to get the defender in the air and draw contact. You take that away from him.

Dog-shit. Horse-shit. Pig-shit.

I assume the Henson flop was discussed already but i was watching it again and laughing at the commentators saying he had a "legitimate gripe" LOL

So was anybody else happy with Cunningham's 7-4-3 line? I mean when did Smokin Joe ever do anything close to this? He also played some acceptable defense and i even noticed LeBron being the first one to high five him on that end.

Confidence is the only thing this kid needs. Obviously he wont get major minutes, but solid play time is all we need.

Any clips of these calls?

I think he's got it.

Have only seen the first half, but he juked two bucks put of their shoes in the same possession and the crowd loved it

Thrilled. Dude was effective out there. Not just unfocused energy - he accomplished a lot.
