Game 12 -|- Cavs @ Magic -|- Friday, November 23rd, 7:00PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Going to a second a ban for trolling. They fouled Reddick when there was under 24 seconds left. The options were 1) Don't foul Reddick and just let him dribble out the clock or 2) Foul Reddick and extend the game. You're saying option 1 is dumb basketball?

Now, back to Zeller. Dude needs to be put on a jump-shot ban. He's not even close on them. Barely drawing iron on most of them.

Despite that one mess up on the Vucecic layup I thought Zeller looked good.

Tristan Thompson makes Zeller look like Tim Duncan.

Give me a break. Zeller has a mid range jumpshot but he was flat tonight. It can happen to any big at any time. He's a rookie and although his defense was so so he was playing smart basketball. Great game from Zeller and exactly what you want to see from a 17 overall pick.

Overall I was pleased with the effort tonight. Pargo, zeller, Casspi, and gibson put n some solid minutes Dion looked more comfortable executing plays throughout the game. Gee had a bad night and although the team gave up 50% shoting they were being aggressive on defense. Dion and pargo have to do a better job at defending threes but they were pretty good on switches and slowing down dribble penetration.

Cavs lost this game because they couldnt stop Orlando when it matter. the free throw game is a prayer and a hope. gotta give redick props for moving without the ball to make sure he got it off the inbound

His jump shot looks really bad right now. Like clanking off the front of the rim bad. It doesn't even have a chance of going in.

Dude it's basketball, wait five minutes.

outside of the standard player speak. Dion seemed pretty frustrated about the defensive end. I like that

I wouldn't be surprised if Zeller's mask is bothering his jump shot. But I like how he's developing, despite getting caught in no man's land on that late P&R.

TT and Zeller would be great bigs off the bench. I want bigs in the upcoming draft. A combination of any of Noel, LEn, Cody, Austin would be a welcome addition.

Front of the rim is tired legs. He is a rookie playing 30 minutes. ideally you want him playing 15-20 minutes max.

Ever worn a mask? His shot went away when he put it on. Chill. He can shoot.

He's been complaining about it a lot. He hates it. It's making a big difference. He wont go Rip's route...he'll burn it as soon as he can play without it.

K, that may be true, but there hasn't been a game this season where his jumper has been falling. He's hit more than 1 shot outside of the paint 0 times this season.

Why did Miles play so little? I thought he would get plenty of minutes to build upon his best performance so far this season.

I think it had a lot to do with Waiters. Waiters got pulled very early in the first quarter, apparently to settle down, which is the only time that Miles got minutes. Waiters re-entered after a few minutes and played noticeably better, and then Casspi came in and also played well in the first half. He could have taken some minutes from Casspi/Gee but Casspi was hitting his shots and Gee was defending well.

In the 2nd half, the Cavs were getting hurt by the small guards on Orlando, so Gibson got more minutes since Waiters was having trouble dealing with Nelson. Casspi got some minutes, but Byron did not find time for Miles with the matchups.

On the bright side, with heavy minutes played by the starters, Miles should get plenty of time against the Heat. :chuckles:
