So everyone minus Love and Lebron have to be on the trading block, right?
Until Kyrie's extension kicks in, he can't be traded. To be blunt, we would get fuck all back for him, because he doesn't make much.
So how's bout dat Roy Hibbert? I was dead serious in the last thread. I know everyone thought I was joking, but man this teams defense is putrid.
We all knew the D was going to be bad. I just didn't think they would give up easy layups, and jump shots all game long.
It's been a dozen games, it isn't time to blow it up, but personally I'm always looking toward the future.
If Roy does become available, in the East, I would say it's between us and Toronto to make a play for him. The reason I say that is because Tor needs a C as well (Jonas isn't a starter for a title team), but Toronto might not be willing to swing for the fences like we know Dan is. Especially with their history of not being able to keep guys.
The problem then becomes what we could offer. The Memphis pick is a given, Dion obvious, and likely TT, but I believe we would need something else to make the salary match. Toronto would have to offer Ross, and JV, but I'm not sure what they have in the way of picks, and other stuff to make the salary work.
A little OT obviously, but at the deadline, a Hibbert pick up could be huge.
