This far, this team cannot handle things at all when things don't its way--as soon as a little adversity hits in the form of a run, it lets things get out of hand. There was a good fight back in Chicago when we lost the lead in the fourth and of course in Boston spurred by Kyrie hero ball and a good effort in Utah, but by and large, teams make runs and we can't do anything at all.
This game was weird because we were getting stops and rebounding well, but they took 100 FTs and we never recovered from Williams's 9 FTs in 5 minutes or whatever early in the second. Once again, we couldn't generate any turnovers. The Big Three shot the ball decently, but Bron once again had too many turnovers and tried to make too many plays passing the ball.
Nobody thought we would be in this situation because nobody believed a 30 PER, .300 WS/48, 10+ VORP, +9 RAPM, +12 BPM best player in the world would be playing the way he is. If James were playing like the James if the last 8 years, THIS team, as shitty as it has played, would be 8-4 at a minimum. But the whole point was her we would craft a team that didn't require James to play like superman (those stats listed are the stats of a guy playing like superman, night in and night out) in order to win.
