I mean, it's obvious. If there was any doubt why we suck (at least what the #1 reason is...), this game showed us all we need to know.

Andy competed too. Had a good game. Nene ate him up in the first half, but he still competed.
Then the Cavs were so lackluster they got booed on their home floor. And nothing positive came from the fans until Delly's effort.

I think even though this game is a loss on paper, its a huge win for mike brown's message. That team has now witnessed first hand how what brown teaches impacts the game.

Agree. Glad we lost. We didn't deserve to win. If this game doesn't send a message, idk what will.

Misquote, he actually said Delladova was the only one who competed...

Re: Game 12: Washington Wizards @ Cleveland Cavaliers | November 20th, 2013 | 7 PM [E

This team is just dumb. Kyrie can't operate with people who can't cut properly. Nor can he look good without an extra shooter. I know Bennett is supposed to be that guy, but this team does not have a reliable SF. I know what some fans are thinking about that position, and you know what I think about that.... what is the long term plans? Because I can't see anything but Kyrie going off into the night ala the Baltimore Colts on some Mayflower trucks and no playoffs. I mean, this is the Wiggins/Parker draft so maybe it'd be cool to tank but by now this team would have resembled something you could build on. Instead it looks like the Browns in basketball form, except in inverse (Cavs have a "QB")

Re: Game 12: Washington Wizards @ Cleveland Cavaliers | November 20th, 2013 | 7 PM [E

The lineups weren't good, or even remotely balanced for large portions of the game, but with CJ down and Bennett being a flaming pile of garbage it was going to happen for stretches regardless.

I don't care who the coach is, what the offense is, or who is on the court. There is NO excuse for the way the starters played for 80% of the game. If we only have players who are going to play hard when things are going well, they can fuck off. Unfortunately, we seem to have a number of those guys. If they gave HALF as much effort as Delly gives every second he is on the court, this would be a decent team. But it's not, because they don't. I'm not having the excuse that they won't give effort because of the lineups or offense. If that's the case, we have a bunch of losers and we're going nowhere anyways.

Other notes:

- Clark needs to touch the ball as little as possible. His complete inability to dribble and stone hands lead to soul crushing turnovers on a consistent basis.
- Bennett is mentally done. I don't even know what to do with him at this point. It's sad and pathetic. I'm really trying to hold out some long term hope for him, but there's nothing there.
- Bynum is physically done. He KILLS the team on defense. Any remotely competent team is going to make him guard in space away from the rim and run circles around him. He's a statue out there. He doesn't bring enough on offense at this point either.
- Andy is a shell of himself. I don't know if he's still working himself into shape, or the injuries have just piled up, but he's worthless on defense around the basket. Even his rebounding has dropped off a cliff.
- We need a functional center and small forward. Real bad.

I'm not sure what we can do about the center position. I'd advocate trying to find a taker for Andy in hopes we can still get value. But both he and Bynum are sieves on defense at this point. Bynum just can't play against starting caliber big men at this point. They just walk out of the paint, set up for a little jumper, and he can't get out there to cover them.
