Game 13 | Cavs @ Pelicans | November 22nd 2013 | 8:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Not to be a debbie downer but this feels like another game where we look bad.

This New Orleans team is still trying to put it all together but they have had stretches where they have looked fantastic. I could really see them stomping a mud hole in our collective ass. Hope our guys come ready to compete tonight, if not this will get ugly.

I personally disagree with starting Delly. MB's making a statement that effort will be rewarded, but the Delly thing isn't going to last. He needs to be used in spots. Personally, since we're trying different things, i'd like to see Sergey get the start. I think he'd thrive with the first unit and he's the future. Don't misunderstand me, i'm a big Delly fan, but he is what he is...he's not an NBA starter.

I fully expect the misery to continue tonight...and the next few games. I'm guaranteeing a loss tonight. Book it!

I see a "Nailed it!" post in your future.

We're about the get dominated by the best big man in the league. Loss.

That's what I love about it, personally. Mike Brown is basically saying "the ridiculousness of your lack of effort is only equaled by the ridiculousness of me starting the 13th man", and I think it's a valid point and a great one to make. My one concern is that Dion takes it more personal than the rest of the team and responds accordingly (bad).

Added consistency in the starting lineup could help, and Brown is hopeful that Bynum could play in his first back-to-back set of the season. The 7-footer's minutes still are limited, but Brown said the Cavaliers medical staff recently offered the possibility of playing him consecutive days.
"The medical staff has done a good job, he's done a terrific job of working his tail off to get to the point where he's at," Brown said. "But it's still a work in progress."
To that point, Bynum is shooting just 34 percent in six games – and he only shrugged his shoulders when asked if his accuracy might improve.
"Possibly. I don't know at the moment," Bynum said. "I just can't really jump or do anything quick. I have sharp pain, and that limits me."

So....he isn't complaining about a lot of sharp pain? Or that is just your observation?

Feels like we should have a prediction contest on when this will finally happen. It feels like just a matter of time, if not sure how much.

Not the Pelicans...

Personally I think Bynum gets tired of getting stuffed and puts an elbow on Davis that takes him out of the game, and the cavs romp.

I think you do have to reward Dellavedova. When Sergey has some big games off the bench then we can talk about it. Until then..

Three straight number one picks playing tonight, I wonder the last time that happened

Davis is going to be begging for mercy from big daddy canada, but he shall receive none

Dally starting is a statement. He will play hard. But Sergey is the hopeful future.

I just don't see Earl Clark at the 3. He is too slow of foot. Better as a 4. But Bennett needs a chance to get over these nerves. The more he sits, the worse it'll get. Maybe road games are better for him

Kyrie needs to shoot J's. Not wildly drive to the rim. Dally needs to space the floor (Dion does not)

I would sit Dion and let Sergey in off the bench. Dion is not in our future

Moo

I can't wait for when this team plays together for a couple months. Once all star break we will look like a whole different team.

And to people saying dion is not in the future.... You will all look like fools next year

This feels like a game that could make or break our season for some reason. The situation is perfect for this team to pull together and play like it's capable of playing. But if that doesn't happen...I'll begin to worry that something is broken beyond repair.
