Just when you think maybe the offense is starting to come around, they come out with this crap. Weeden looks very timid and uncomfortable in the pocket. These check downs and short routes are getting out of hand.

Weeden is playing awful. Clearly the weakest link offensively. Line is playing great. They got plenty of weapons. Good running game.
He just can't fit the ball in tight coverage. Not everyone is wide open every single play. You got to make tight throws, and he clearly can't. He's proven throughout the season he can't. He's definitely not the guy of the future.

He is playing worse than usual, but his accuracy throughout the entire year has been in question. I don't think he's garbage, I just don't think he can make the tight throws in tight coverage to be good enough. I've yet to see in this year.
Accuracy is something QB's have down from day one. If he doesn't have it now, I don't see why he'll have it later. He's just a decent band-aid until we finally find our guy. Definitely not a guy that will carry us to the post season.

He's played better against scrub teams with an offensive line who gets the job done game in and game out. We are going to need a quarterback but drafting one this year would be a mistake IMO. We need to have another year of Weeden unfortunately.
