Game 17 | Nets (3-12) @ Cavs (12-4) | November 28, 2015 | 7:30 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He never will again

Remember how quickly AI. dropped off because they started calling carries?

For what ever reason, nba similarly has a boner for lbj

I don't like blaming the refs, but Lebron is not getting his Miami calls. I just hate that. Needs to start hitting them anyway.

To be fair, it's regular season and were probably exploring whether or not Mo 's. Defences cab be hidden with moz..

If the answer is no, Mos playing time will be limited to our all defense unit, which would acutely wor pretty well.

Literally, as bad as he is on defense, he is as good on offense.

Delly needs to start until Kyrie gets back. It's obvious.

To be fair he's played like ten games in half a decade and he's an entirely new player considering his injury
AV is just sad out there. He got the ball and it looked like he had no clue what to do with it.

Kind of confused why Love didn't touch the ball last 6 minutes of game.

They need to break themselves of that habit. Not only do other teams take notice, but habituating Love to not taking shots later in the fourth will condition him into passivity.

The Cavs have to make a point of getting him the ball late so he can develop a more aggressive instinct late in games, and, incidentally, so they can build differing offensive schemes that will make them less predictable. Ideally, it would be great to have both Love and LeBron take over in the fourth.

LBJ is 2nd in fourth quarter assists. They listed it on the broadcast. Why is Love not the recipient of those? Is it so simple as LeBron doesn't pass it to him?

So, I had a great time at the Q. Best seats I've ever had to a Cavs game and so worthwhile. Fans seemed really into it, especially in the fourth quarter. A few thoughts:

1) Why is Delly wearing what appears to be an ankle brace before he entered the game? Does it just have to do with his injury? Nonetheless, this dude gives 110% effort every game. As one of his biggest critics this time last year, I am floored with his improvement. One big change this season is he calls plays very effectively. He's a pleasure to watch, and we're lucky to have him.

2) Mo Williams starting nearly guarantees we start off slow. He is just an awful defender. I really don't see him getting more than 10-15 minutes per game when Kyrie and Shump return. Shane Larkin, who is no mediocre player -- that kid can ball -- destroyed Mo. Mo was a great free agent signing because he gives us 65% of Kyrie's offense, which we would be lacking without him. But with Kyrie back, and Delly playing as good as he is, I just don't see Mo playing that much.

3) Something is wrong with Moz. His defense is still pretty good (Brook posted up against him a few times, but nonetheless, still solid), but his offense, on the other hand, is atrocious. He can barely elevate off the ground, has as bad of handles as ever, and moves slow off of PnRs. Hopefully this changes soon.

4) No surprise, but Andy isn't the same player he once was. Nonetheless, he plays hard and is somewhat effective for his minimal minutes.

5) From watching this team, and stats may prove me wrong, it seems our shooting efficiency goes way down in back-to-backs. We miss a ton of threes, miss free throws, and settle for mid-range jump shots.

6) Lebron and Love were fantastic tonight. I wish Love touched the ball more in the last five minutes, but he was a model of efficiency. He doesn't take dumb shots. Solid, consistent piece in an inconsistent game. As for Lebron, what can anyone say? The dude is the most physically dominant forward in NBA history. And I'd say he's a top-5 physically dominant player in all of NBA history.

7) Nets are the type of team that gives us trouble. Same with a team like the Sixers or Bucks. They are defensively efficient, long, and play a slow game. When we shoot a low three-point percentage that style gives us a lot of trouble. I'm not surprised they gave Golden State a run. Listen, the team is mediocre at best, but I think they are well coached and play physical basketball.

8) How demoralizing must it be for other teams to face the Cavs? Nets played noticeably better than us for 42 minutes tonight. Nonetheless, they still couldn't win. I want to see a more consistent effort throughout, though; sometimes it feels like we know we can win in crunch time and make the games harder than needed.

He's doing pretty good physically. Very active. Far from Mozgod form. Still a recipient of dumb passes.

He looked aggressive against the Hornets, looking for his shot, but didn't seem to fit in the offense. He seemed to disrupt the offensive flow. We fell behind at the start of the second half, against the Hornets, and then he was rightfully benched for the rest of the game.

I thought we could have rested LB and win this game. Boy was I wrong. Sad, too. This is at home to a team that's already in tank mode.

Nets can't tank. Don't own any of their own picks for 3 yrs. (sandwich yr celtics can trade spots)

1) Delly really picks the team up. His energy on defense is infectious, and his passing - especially to TT - has gotten much better.

2) People in here have said it: Mo would be much more effective as instant offense, off the bench. He could be out Vinny, The Microwave. He really should not be guarding starting point guards.

4) AV could be effective as a rebounder and if he gets that shot from the elbow. He had it going in one game, but there haven't been many chances to get him going.

7) The Bucks are pretty rotten defensively. They've been run out of the gym about 3x in the last week. I don't know if any one type of team gives us trouble. What do the Bulls, Raps, Pistons, and Bucks have in common? We went into scoring slumps against them, because we took bad shots and turned the ball over. And they had some luck, got some favorable calls, and we couldn't get stops we needed. But we can pretty much beat anyone we want. We just don't beat everyone, because people are inconsistent and sloppy and sometimes play with their heads up their a$$es. Other than that, we can be glad that we have won so many games where we didn't play that well.

2 shots for Love in the 4th quarter. And those were in the first 2:30. LeBron needs to run plays in the 4th quarter. That kills us.

I'm not sure it's LeBron running the offense so much as the utter predictability of it when that happens. Sure he's hard to stop. Would be harder if you didn't know every time down it was a middle PnR.
