Parents, don't say you weren't warned. LeBron James awaits, so this is going to be too gruesome for the kiddies.

There must be some holiday special on television, no? The Grinch? Charlie Brown? The people's network lists The Legend of Frosty The Snowman at 7 p.m.

That would be nice — preferable, certainly, to the Toronto Raptors' game tonight in Cleveland against the Cavaliers.

Considering how hard it is to keep track of which network is televising any given Raptors game, maybe this sucker should be moved to Showcase or Bravo.

Considering how adroit new play-by-play man Matt Devlin is at keeping the broadcast rotation straight — um, if it's Sunday, it must be the CBC or TSN, right? — the guess is, he'd ace having to preface the game with: "The following show contains scenes of etc. etc. etc. …"

Head coach Jay Triano wrapped up the first practice session of the post-Sam Mitchell era at the Raptors' Air Canada Centre practice court by issuing a warning of his own.

"We might take our lumps a little," he said.

"I thought we did a nice job against Brandon Roy [in Sunday's 98-97 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers], so the scheme's going to stay the same," said Triano, who is 0-2 since replacing Mitchell.

"We need to focus on the Raptors right now — not LeBron. We're not going to throw out our principles for one game to play against LeBron and take a step back. We have a system we're going to be committed to, and if in the end it fails? Then we'll think about playing different teams in different ways."

Bagnani is marked up against LeBron. LeBron must attack hard and often. I dont think it will be too long before Moon checks in. Calderon will likely give us fits setting up their shooters. Defensively though they are poor. Some shot blockers there but not good defenders individually. Should be comfortable.
