Cavaliers' 3 Keys to the Game:
-This team is still adjusting to Elton Brand but with him probably out, we could take advantage of their lack of chemistry
-Get the ball moving and the offense flowing
-Defense, defense, and more defense.....for once, our offense will most likely always be there

76ers' 3 Keys to the Game:
- With Brand out, just hope Dalembert performs better than he has been and young dudes Marreese and Thaddeus keep doing their thang
- Move the ball, get the offense going, dictate the flow of the game
- Let Andre Miller do what he needs to do and try to get Iguodala involved

I thought Brand might play-- Any news about Gibson?

The starters got to rest again. Should be an interesting game.
Cavs-93
76ers- 89

Yeah, I heard Brand is probable for the game tomorrow.

If Gibson is out for a night, will Jawad Williams get on the active list for the first time this season?

I see no reason why we can't keep our streak of 12+ point victories alive. The 76ers have yet to figure out how to play together with Brand, and are averaging only 94PPG.

With the way Ben played against Bosh tonight, I see no reason why he can't shut down Brand tomorrow.

Also, at least in the past, LeBron has played even harder and better when the games are nationally televised. I think LeBron will come out looking to put on a show.

yea I predicting a 15+ win with our team just being sooo defensivly sound, and our bench is much more productive and deeper than sixers bench.

According to a press release on RealGM, Gibson did not travel with the team to Philadelphia.

Cavaliers Guard Daniel Gibson left Tuesday’s game with 9:50 remaining in the 2nd quarter with a sprained left great toe. He did not return to the game.

He will be reevaluated in the morning and his status will be updated as appropriate. He did not travel with the team to Philadelphia.

Sounds like a normal precaution at this point.

Id rather him not play than to risk furtur injury.

I would really be bummed to blow this game on national TV after we have been playing so well

I wouldn't mind a LeBron domination 40 pt plus type of game....he has been just rolling along ever so quitely (for LeBron standards) and if he came out and laid the wood to the Sixers I would be pumped

either way I just want to win and keep the winning streak going

AP / ESPN updates the Gibson story in one way:

Gibson did not travel with the club to Philadelphia, but may rejoin the Cavs after being re-evaluated on Wednesday.

Windhorst offers a different take in his blog:

First things first, looks like Daniel Gibson may be out for a bit after spraining his left big toe. He's going to have an MRI in the morning. He had this exact same injury in his rookie season and missed about two weeks. During that injury, he hurt it and missed a game and then came back too soon and missed two weeks. So it wouldn't surprise me if they decide to sit him down for a bit. One of the Cavs officials told me "it's a yellow flag, not a red flag.

This should be a victory with or without Brand.

With Brand: I see the Sixers reverting to their old style from last year, that being up tempo and running. If that's the case the Cavs should slow them down with their suffocating defense and make the their opponent play their type of game.

Without Brand: The Sixers still have not found their identity with their star addition. I'm positive our team can play on their miscues . It'll be the Cavs against 5 dudes in similar uniforms, not the Cavs vs The Sixers.

Either way I look at it, the good guys have the advantage regardless of the back to back.

Don't you mean the opposite? With Brand, they will slow down, without him they will speed up.

Can we get up to 10 on a win streak?

Is Daniel Gibson the new Larry Hughes when it comes to injuries? This sucks, he was just starting to heat up too. Hmmm that sounds like something I used to say all the time about Larry. :thumbdown

NO, Daniel Gibson is not the new Larry Hughes

True if larry hughes had stubbed his toe, gangrean would have set in leading to amputation.

I think the cavs need to add a wrinkle to the offense to get west a few early open looks. Just to get his confidence back up. He will have his hands full defensivly on iggy so needs to be a threat.

i honestly believe wallace could blow by marseese speights by doing the old dirveway trick 'hey i think your mom is calling' or possibly distracting him with something shiny
