Game 22, Mavs @ Cavs, Saturday, 4 February 2012, 7:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
i was at this game and it was ROCKING in the q. loudest its been all season by far imo. so proud that our fans showed up and we got this w. kyrie is something else

Just got back from the Q.

Awesome game. It was crazy to watch Kyris score that basket !!! I was friggin worried when Dallas had .5 secs left, but woot woot ... we won. The atmosphere in the Q was rocking and my hands are tired from clapping. We need more wins like this and We need to sit Luke Harangody down !!!!!!! Go CAvs !!

From Dan Gilbert:

Thrilled to get this win at home. Fans absolutely outstanding at Q during 4th Qtr. Honored to own this team in the most loyal of all markets!

Seriously, the arena seemed to be as loud and exciting as at any time during the James era, and there not even competing for a title right now. I don't know what the average attendance is at Cavs games this year, but crowds seems to be pretty awesome.

that makes it kind of hard to have the discussion in other threads where it would be appropriate to have the debate if you put the posters on ignore because of the game thread.

That's true, but posters can avoid any thread, use Ignore, or stop whining about being annoyed. We're not going to moderate game threads and delete comments that aren't pro-winning or pro-losing.

I don't appreciate posters (not talking about you) telling others to STFU or GTFO. You all have to deal with it and choose one of the other options.

I went to some CAvs games last year, This was my first one for this year. I can tell u think much - we are having more attendance this year and I can see a lot more hope and positive energy. We may not be winners right now, but we are on the right track.

GREAT WIN TONIGHT FOR THE CAVS! ANOTHER GAME WINNING LAY UP FOR KYRIE!

TT out, Boobie out and AP out, and having Mychel Thompson and Harangody out on the floor for almost 35 minutes? That's a quality win.

Sometimes I don't understand Scott's rotations and the length of time he leaves the second unit in, but he's pretty consistent with it, and it somehow it puts time in the situation to win games.

I've seen every game so far this year, but the one I forget to DVR is being considered the win of the season.. thats cool.

For some reason I did not DVR this game :( First game I've missed all year.

On paper, we essentially had sellouts at every home game last year, but are averaging 75% of capacity this year.

Of course, stated attendance by purchased tickets and actual showing up can be different things.

Interestingly, we rank even better in road attendance this year, and teams like the Suns, Jazz and Raptors (!) are up there with us. We ranked worst in the league in road attendance per game last year, but are 9th this year.

I've never DVR'ed a game, but my husband had a show last night so I started recording in the 3rd quarter so he could see the ending, had a feeling it was gonna a keeper.

15,874 - ranks 19th in the league for average attendance through 9 home games (tied for 2nd fewest).

Whatever, it's still early, and the fans being happy with regular season wins doesn't mean the FO is.

Oh yeah, the front office certainly isn't happy with us getting wins.
