Man that's just ridiculous. I know sometimes it's a judgment call and players like Dion are gonna take the shaft on it more often than not.
But that right there just cannot be excused. When a player is fouled hard, the refs have to fucking call it because that's what they're paid to do. Not pick favorites and call technicals every time a player waves at them.
I know in basketball the referees are gonna screw up at least 1-2 times a game. That's a given, and most of them can even things out and make it as fair as possible.
However, and maybe this is just me going crazy, but I'm becoming more convinced that the referees are just plain bad in the NBA these days. We've been getting more bad calls on average. And I especially dislike it when they team fouls us hard all game, and the refs keep calling fouls on us just to make it seem more balanced. Sometimes the fact of the matter is that one team is fouling 10x as much as the other and that's got to be shown. The game against the Knicks being a prime example.
