Game 24, Cavs v. LA Clippers; Wednesday, Feb 8th @ 7pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
That and Billups has been hot garbage this year. Worst season in years for that guy.

But, I guess no matter what he's better than Randy Foye.

But the Clippers' offense (w/ Billups as a steadying presence) was really starting to click over the last two weeks. Aside from the loss to Denver (on the second-half of a back-to-back), they were playing terrific basketball. Tonight, they played like garbage. They're already a bad defensive team, but they were largely out of sync on offense. I mean, Sessions out-dueled Paul. How many nights do you expect that to happen?

Look, if this win kicks off a Cavs run, great. But if it's due to key contributions from Jamison and Sessions, I'll have a hard time getting excited. Best case: wins like this get the young players believing in Scott.

To be quite honest, I think it should be all condensed and merged into 2 threads. One titled "We're Happy We Won!" or something like that, and another titled "Losing Games Is Good For The Future". The main section is just filled, FILLED with clutter, and it's hard to tell what goes on in what thread.

It's to the point where we need a positive game thread and a tank game thread lol. Really.

No offense to the guys that want us to lose every game, but how can you sit in-front of your tv watching the game, the team you follow, and want them to lose?

it's easy, you just hope the other team makes hard shots towards the end of games

I thought Kyrie did very well tonight.. HE ha d a nice designer jacket. He listened in on the huddles and he seemed focused on watching the starters work without him. Anthony parkr was also exception as usual in sideline demeanor. several times i mistook him for a coach and you saw scott bounce ideas off him several times. Irving though had a much larger plain clothes presence than tristan thompson. which is odd becuase youd figure the big guy would stick out

He was bouncing off the idea that he wouldn't be starting him for the rest of the year...:gap:

Saw lots of nice things out of what was essentially last year's team without Tristan and Kyrie. Jamison had a throwback night which helped, Sessions looked to be outmatched at the start but stuck in there and outplayed CP3 by the end of it. AV was pretty much a beast. Gibson, Eyenga, and Gee all did solid jobs and thank god Hollins didn't make an appearance. Semih again did nothing, and I dont see why Samardo just isnt the go to backup big man at this point (while Tristan is out).

More importantly, the team was solid defensively and kept control of the pace of the game. The Clips didn't have a fast break point until the 4th and the game never got caught up in back and forth turnovers letting easy baskets slide like against the Heat the night before. They also stuck with it when down 10 early, then losing a 13 point lead and pulled out a tough win.
