Game 25 -|- Bucks @ Cavs -|- Friday, December 20th, 7:30PM.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just got back from the game.

A few things I noticed:

1) Pretty good crowd for a random late-December game v. Milwaukee. Don't know the exact number, but it seemed about 80% full.
2) Good lord, when Varejao was called for that "tripping" foul, the entire crowd ERUPTED. The replay sent everyone into an outrage. Horrible. That was a pathetic call, and it almost determined the game.
3) Kyrie looked great tonight. The pass to Clark for a last-second three was impressive. Loved the TT follow, obviously, as well.
4) There were times in the game where I was like, "Man, if the Cavs could play like this, they could beat anybody." and other times where I thought, "Man, I miss Dion Waiters."

Had a great time, went to Melt after the game, and only paid 20 bucks for a ticket to one of the most exciting games this season.

I was at the game tonight and decided to record our last shot of the 4th quarter. I got the video of Tristan Thompson's tip-in if anyone is interested in looking at it!

I decided to go on a last minute whim and this game was definitely worth the $20 for the ticket! I had no idea it was Andy Bobblehead Night either so that was a nice surprise

Yeah this game definitely showed the value Waiters adds. Between him and Kyrie there should always be a driving threat on the floor. Without, there really wasnt anyone that could bail out the offense for the 2nd unit. Despite missing a bunch of shots, they managed to pull out a win, and even though this should have been a blowout (I think the Bucks are missing like 6 of their normal rotation guys), it was a good win.

You can see the offense works some times but the potential is there. One problem is that the teams identity changes greatly depending on whether you got Bynum vs Andy out there. Kyrie vs. Waiters, and if theres Clark or Miles out there as a 3 point shooter, and so many guys are in the rotation that its just going to take a while for everyone to learn to play with everyone else.

The use Bynum only at the beginning of the first and 3rd quarter thing reminds me of Mike Brown's use of Z where we'd spend a few possessions just dumping it into Z, I'd love for this to be a more consistent thing and having some offensive flow after passing to Bynum where he kicks out or something. We'll see how this evolves over the course of the season as its only recently that the guy could even play for 2 stints at a time in the same game.
