Game 25 -|- Bucks @ Cavs -|- Friday, December 20th, 7:30PM.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Shit, I thought we played tonight. Do we really have another fri-sat back to back?

Yup, and next weekend we have a Sat-Sun back to back, and then the weekend after that another sat-sun back to back... The NBA loves to back to back us.

But, honestly, I really think those back to backs have helped our team, more real practice time when your games are bunched together and you have multiple days off in a row.

From The Bullshit Whisperer:

Kyrie Irving missed #Cavs practice today due to illness. Dion Waiters also sat out with right wrist tendinitis.

Translation: Dion punched Kyrie again...

I believe I have fixed the issues. My apologies. :chuckles:

Yes. The league hates the Cleveland Cavaliers. No other explanation for 27 straight Fri-Sat back to backs to start the season. Awesome schedule.

If Kyrie and Waiters don't play, this goes from a game we should win to a total toss-up. We NEED this win.

I bet Dion goes and Kyrie is out (if bad illness)

According to Bucks coach Larry Drew, Ersan Ilyasova is being shut down due to his ankle injury and Gary Neal in a walking boot and will not travel to Cleveland.

Mayo is scheduled to play, and Butler may return.

Delfino, Pachulia, and Sanders are all out.

(The more Bucks go down, the more it feels like bad deja vu from the last game)

I would sacrifice Playoffs God to see Dion start tomorrow and K.I. stay at home in his jammies :chuckles:

Have Kyrie sit back and take some vitamins and watch this game. Lil' Campbells Chunky and a clipboard, take some notes on how Waiters learned to create better shots for teammates in his time up in Syracuse, see how Waiters would approach playing off of Bynum as a starter, see if Waiters helps Tristan be less hesitant from midrange to start the game.

So much of Kyrie's next step in development is dependent on him learning to make the right play when he beats his man. I dont really think he can improve his scoring too much, he came into the league scoring with the arsenal of a 8 year pro. Dont want him to ever become pass-first, but would like for his decision making int he halfcourt offense to improve from score at all costs, to score at will as a result of showing he can burn you with his passing as well.

I'm going to the game tomorrow so let's have them both play for the time being. :chuckles:

Would be interesting to see how Waiters runs a team with no Kyrie. Would the machine be more well oiled? The way Dion's been playing as of late, I would say yes. I still firmly believe these guys coexist quite well but both suffer from lack of experience.
