What Harris did fits that definition, easily, imo. There's nothing in there about the intent or mindset of the offender, nothing about 'maliciousness'...where you got that I don't know...
I agree with them. It wasn't malicious. It was potentially dangerous. But not a flagrant 2.
If Moon doesn't regain his balance then he's hurt and you have a different view of the foul. The ruling can't depend on whether the player regains his composure or gets hurt. It was a bitchass foul in frustration that could have hurt our guy.

it was similar to the ariza foul on fernandez last season and as far as i remember ariza got ejected as well....
