Game 26 | Cavaliers @ Nuggets Dec. 19th, 10:30PM (ET)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
we can pull this one off...mo and lebron will be determined,Z will bring what he brings and the defense will turn up and lebron will lock up melo!! defensei is the key

WE CAN WIN THIS

This should be a very interesting game. I hope Big Z is back for this game. Boobie might be back as well.

This one worries me.......(no max)

a place where we haven't won in a long, long time.

Cavs have been terrible over the years in Denver but did win 4 years ago (2004-5 season). Cavs have gotten beat pretty decisively in Denver in other recent years or lost in heartbreaking style.

I will be pleasantly surprised if the Cavs pull this one out, especially with Z doubtful and Gibson out. I thought they would win a close one in Atlanta, but don't see them having it all together in Denver. But I'd love for the Cavs to surprise me. Keep the pace down, force contested shots, keep the crowd out of it, ugly it up when necessary, and don't turn the ball over. Then really turn it up at the end.

We may not have the offensive fire power to match Denver without Z and Boobie. Even if one of them was there contributing it would help.

Mo is going to have to stay out of foul trouble and contribute offensively in this game. If Lebron can lock down Melo that would be HUGE!

I hope our shooters knock down open shots when they double and triple team Lebron. It seems like the guys that are out there to space the floor out and knock down shots are not doing that consistently.

I'm hoping Billups has one of his off nights while Lebron locks Melo down. If that happens we don't need Z or Boobie. However what are the chances of both those happening?

We just need to ugly this one up. Get them out of their transition offense. Tough defense, strong rebounding and limiting turnovers are always important, but take extra importance in this high altitude game.

I think we are a reasonable chance but would favour the Nuggets overall here.

I agree with Karma

They need to approach this game like a playoff game, slow the tempo, only run off turnovers, execute in the half court.

Lebron needs to be in attack mode for 40min and get to the line to punish melo and his weak D.

I would say some mo'(re), but I think the fellows above me already summed it up nicely.

Getting into a scoring contest will not work this time, especially if we start misfiring with our limited lineup (depending on if we're missing Z still).

Control the game, limit the mistakes. I'm sure they learned this from playing Philly twice last week, don't get caught with your defensive pants down on the transition game (though Denver is a much better team, and can run a half court offense).

I'm not sure if we'll win, depending on how hot Denver gets, or if we can throttle their offense enough. But when it comes to our offense, I think either Mo and/or D will have to have a big game, or Lebron will try and carry the weight of the offense on his shoulders.

Denver will be looking to push the ball up and hurt the Cavs inside..we have to control Billups/Anthony and keep their bigs off the offensive boards..

If we want to prove that we're as good as the Celtics we have to win games like this. So far we've lost all of our away games which were against good teams. This game will tell us a lot about our limits.

Hope Big Z plays. We need him badly.

I am feeling a good game from Moseph:chuckles:

Melo didn't even guard LeBron most of the last game, did he?

^He didn't, Dahntay Jones was guarding him. Lebron was humilating him off the ball in the first half, Lebron should exploit that again.

Hopefully Billups doesn't go off like he last time.

I just saw that LA is playing on ESPN before us. Man I hope they lose and we win that would be a perfect day
