Game 31 | Cavs (18-12) @ Hawks (22-8) | December 30, 2014 | 7:30pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Good and informative. Rich and compelling.

47% is our season average. That would include good and bad teams. So it's safe to say that, generally, the good teams probably shoot better than 47% against us, while the bad teams shoot slightly worse. Atlanta is a good team. Let's see if we can hold a good team to our season average.

I'm just looking for baby steps. Start holding the good teams to 47% and the bad teams to 43% and we can begin to move towards league average in opp fg%

ATL coach seems sharp. Love will have to come ready to play because ATL will be looking to go at him defensively big time.

Might be a good time for Blatt to mix in some of the other bigs like Haywood for defensive purposes.

We are going to win. Not sure how well the defense will play, but I feel a hot shooting night coming on for our guys. 120 points, book it.

Mark my words. Lebron will have a BIG game. He's coming off one of the most embarrassing losses he's ever had and one of his worst shooting nights of his career. And now he just turned 30 and the doubters are starting to show (of this team and of his abilities after so much mileage). I think he wants to prove everyone wrong on his birthday to show he's still the best on the planet even at 30.

Even if its like an offensive onslaught by the Cavs and they win, I will not be sold on the victory. The offense will find its way, I want to win this game with the defense.

Possibly no LeBron. Waiters is going to take 25 shots.

LBJ didn't mention any soreness in the morning shoot around

Coach Bud is what Mike Brown should have been. I'll be at the game, but I'm bringing a jacket just in case I need to hide my jersey in shame.

With everything that is going in the media with Blatt and Lebron this seems odd. I don't see how you sit a player like Lebron after the kind of loss we just took, when we are going up against one of the better teams in the east. It seems like Blatt or the organization if he doesn't play is maybe sending a message to him.

Cavs by 15+

We're too good to lay a massive egg two games in a row. I think they'll come to play today.

Or it could be that he's not feeling physically well enough to go today and then again tomorrow on a back-to-back. He's been battling tendinitis in his knees for a while going back to his Miami days. I also thought he got hit in the hip in that Detroit game.

I was surprised Marion even came back in the Detroit game.

So with LBJ/Marion out, is this another ATL beatdown or do we get a monster effort by Love and co and some show they win one for James lol?
