Jamison's defense is really funny. He is like dragging a dead corpse all over the court. He moves in a slo mo.

Irvin was rushing layups. taking silly three pointers and letting his opponent penetrate at will. hell lin played less minutes than Irving.

Cavs already blew the lead when irving got yanked. The 2nd unit didnt do squat.
the whole team crashed and burn.

Torn, the loss doesn't bother me in the least. Kyrie had a great deal of momentum going before Scott pulled him in the 1st (again, like clockwork). Our rotation patterns are so mechanical and predictable that I really have a hard time believing opposing coached aren't gameplanning against it.

When you know almost to the second when a certain player is coming out (in our case 2-3) then you have an edge. Scott is famous (infamous) for going golfing in the Finals while in NJ instead of breaking down film. That's laziness and arrogance. I'm not seeing anything here in CLE that demonstrates he's learned his lesson.

The hard part is playing matchups. It's easy to say (insert player) is coming out at a pre-determined point in the game.

There wasn't a single player for the Cavs that played even passable defense tonight. Everyone looked horrible all the way around. Not one player looked like he knew how to defend the pick and roll.

But hey, Byron Scott is a liar and Jeremy Lin sucks.

Consistency is the best way to develop talent and thats what Scott does. He maintains consistency. What scott does do is build playoff teams.
New Jersey had two finals with scot.. basically the same team did not make it without him.

Scotts failure in New orleans was largely attributed to hiis his owner and GM. We all seen how well new orleans did after he left.

When you blow a 17 point lead and lose by 17 you have alot more problems than rotations.

Knew it was over once Scott put the four guards in with Jamison. It was only an 8 point game, and there was like 5-6 minutes left, but that was basically waving the white flag.

If you're going to put four guards in the game, you have to put a big in that will at least try on defense. Would have been the perfect time for Tristan, instead we saw the Knicks players blow by the small guys and NO ONE rotating over.

Doesn't matter though. Not like winning this year is priority #1.

Absolutely, Brutha. Tawn and Parker really need to be bought out. Christ, let's lose with the future and guys that might contribute next season. I don't blame Kyrie for being pissed in the least (and he was pissed). There's no reason Antawn fucking Jamison should be taking minutes from a guy like Tristan Thompson. We should at least attempt and see what we have with Samardo, Eyenga and Manny. More than likely they amount to zip, but this steady diet of Weak Sauce and Tawn is fucking nauseating.

I'm cool with the final result. But I'd like to see young players (with a possible future) and good, solid coaching. Scott has been abysmal as of late on both fronts. When Tawn is off he kills the team, and Weak Sauce adds nothing, So anyone that states Scott is trying to win with these lineups actually reflects even more poorly on Scott with respect to his in game rotation and matchups.

guy goes 7-17 1-6 from the three point line. lets baron davis and jeremey lin walk all over him and he wants to call out his teammates.. not a good sign. especially for a guy who had two turnoversto blow a game against the celtcs and looked out of his league in the early third quarter.

Good chance Nets go back to the Finals in 04 if Kidd doesn't blow his knee out. But I agree with you for the most part. New Orleans is a terrible organization.
