Game 38: Cleveland Cavaliers (19-18) @ Sacramento Kings (16-21) | Jan. 11th, 2015

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't think anyone would disagree that you are not going anywhere with Kyrie as your best player. But he's NOT our best player. LeBron is. We won 60 games, with LeBron, when Mo Williams was our second best player.

Are you seriously telling me, Kyrie Irving is a worse player than Mo Williams? Can't win with him at all? Please. Unless you're telling me Mo Williams is better. And if you think that, then you can't be taken seriously.

He's not going to be orchestrating the offense when LB comes back, he's not going to have this expanded role like he is right now. Just chill a bit with Kyrie.

The breathy whisper Fred Mcleoud speaks in during post game interviews after brutal loses sounds like he is at a funeral asking someone how their mother died.

Good thing is we still have our own pick this year...

lol on calling Shumpert and Marion key players. One seriously damaged his knee to the extent he lost athleticism and now his shoulder is fubar, while the other is a old guy at the end of his career.
lol at you still being salty over Waitors being gone. You are gonna say Marion isnt a key defensive player on this team and Shumpert wasn't brought in for his defense? Are you sure you are not Dion's mother? Or side piece? Because you are acting like it.

One of the funniest posts I've seen in a minute. So true. lol

Amazing you get 3 out of 4 years #1 picks and a ton of assets and this is what you have to show for it. Nice.

It's time to acknowledge the fact that this organization is fundamentally flawed, and it starts at the top. This has been the WORST organization in the NBA since Gilbert took control of the basketball decisions, and it hasn't been close. We all wanted to pin it on LeBron leaving, but he's back, and things have only moderately improved.

I don't see how this changes until Gilbert finally admits he doesn't know what the fuck he's doing and gives up control of the basketball decisions.

That said, the players certainly shoulder some, if not most of the blame because they're the ones on the floor... and they don't look like they give a shit. Well, a couple of them do. But it starts at the top there as well. LeBron being in "chill mode," Kyrie playing "point guard," Love's "defense," these are your three best players, and none of the three are setting any sort of tone right now. It's disgraceful watching them.

I'm done for tonight. Hopefully things will turn around, but if they get to the second round this year I will be pleasantly surprised.

Mo never went ISO every play and was a willing passer :(

Kyrie was playing better basketball before LB went down. I have ZERO concerns about him, when LB comes back, because he won't have this expanded role.

He'll go back to playing off LeBron, and that's a much better Kyrie for himself, and for the team.

Mo might be a better team player. He has played well it seems on every team no matter the role. Portland. LAC. Minnesota, Utah, etc.

But Kyrie is supposed to be a PG. He can't run an offense, he just wants ISO plays for himself and makes careless garbage passes. He has to improve his demeanor and put more effort on defense.

It's complete insanity to me how the Cavs get annihilated by horrible teams.

Imagine the terrible supporting cast of the 60+ win Cavs. Swap out Ben Wallace and Mo Williams for Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving.

The thing that was supposed to be great about this team was that if one of the big 3 were to go down for an extended time, it wouldn't even matter. You'd still have two superstars out there. No LeBron? No problem. We all see what Portland is doing with Lillard and Aldridge.

I have no idea what the problem is. Is it coaching? Are Kyrie and Love paper champion stat stuffers?

I cannot believe that you actually have to start wondering about Blatt's job, and the possibility of LeBron thinking about greener pastures.

Kyrie played like crap, but don't lose perspective man. He's not going to be playing the role he is right now with LeBron back. You can't judge this team as a whole, without the best player in the game.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be concern, there should be. But you still got to see how things go with the best player in the game, healthy, playing, before you go knee-jerk reaction.
