Game #39 | Cavaliers @ Lakers | Sunday Jan. 13th 9:30 pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Whatever. Overmatched by Dwight Howard. Roster has no one to guard him. And then CJ Miles finally went all CJ Miles, which basically means we can't win. Thompson played well given his extremely limited minutes and really, Waiters did too.

Zeller....I mean if there are any draft picks we should truly be worried about its him. He's put up some serious, god awful stinkers, and this might be the worst.

At least this shit is about half way over.

And heres the problem if we move Daniel back into the rotation, it means either Livingston's, Walton's, or Miles minutes are going to get cut. Problem with Livingston and Walton is you'd be cutting a bigger guy's minutes, on a team that is currently lacking size desperately. So then we're talking Miles, but Miles has been injected into the starting line-up, so to pull him out now would seem odd.

That said, I hate CJ Miles and I don't give a shit how it seems.

I realize it's an incredibly early part in his career but to be blunt Zeller doesn't even look like a significant bench player right now. Right now it's a borderline miracle that anyone besides Irving hits a shot although Dion looks as if he's kind of coming on.

Hard to watch tonight.

He looked fine off the bench earlier in the season. He's overmatched right now, no doubt. But he does have a role.

Yeah, I'm sure he does. His tentative nature just gets frustrating. His shot is suffering severely due to his lack of confidence, it seems.

At least these blowouts aren't the norm like years past. I feel like I'm being annoying so I will stop.

we need some capable vets on this team

Clearly the organization made the decision to not get those types of players on this team. Cause, yea, we have none right now. And it's killing us. But I guess that's the point, and I guess I'm ok with it, for now.

Do guys now see why we need Varejao on our team? Someone to provide an anchor and keep the games competitive? Blowouts like this are not good for us, our young players will develop bad habits and eventually break their will.

Eh, we've been competitive for the most part w/o him. But I do worry about Zeller. This will continue for him the rest of the season and sadly, there's no one replace him with. I do hope he manages to persevere and not get down on himself.

I didn't know where to post but I'm confused as to why no one has made a game day thread for the Cavs game tonight at 10. Does anyone know anything about the situation or....

be patient. game thread poster knows, otherwise i'll put something up around 8 or so.

Gotta give the Cavs a break last night. Howard's return pumped up the Lakers big time. They were playing at a level they had not in weeks. In the end, it may be a very very good thing.
