Game 39 Cavs Vs. Suns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Considering how often the Cavs let teams go right down the lane, it makes sense. They are, after all, going right down the middle against a Cleveland team.
Well, Fred says it when someone on our team (like LeBron) drives right down the paint. When we're in Cleveland, that's all fine and good seeing as how Euclid Ave actually exists there, but when you're playing in Phoenix why is someone driving right down Euclid for a dunk? Is there a Euclid in Phoenix? It just seems like bad/lazy announcing to me.

Is there a Euclid in Phoenix?

As a matter of fact...

But I'm sure McLeod is just using the catch-phrase in his active vocabulary...

You win this round, but he says it in every town we play in so...

Having LeBron back, going on a crazy run to get up 2 points before letting it all go to shit. This one hurts like hell. Kind of reminds me of the Utah game. That was more than a month ago. We shouldn't be going through this against less talented teams. There is no way our team (with or without LeBron) should go down more than 15 points to any team, but it's been our staple for a while. Fire, meet ass.

Phoenix is a much better team then Utah: right now they're keeping Durant and Anthony Davis out of the playoffs for heaven's sake

I just meant that it was similar play. As in we came back from a decent deficit and went up. Then squandered it at the end of the game. But regardless, we're better than all these teams talent wise. We're making a habit of giving people career games. I would love to see a statistic of how many players have scored career highs against us this season compared to the rest of the league. And it's not even like we're not letting other guys score. It's not like our coaching staff goes "let Morris have whatever he wants, but play hard against the other four guys on the floor". It just happens organically. TT played him better than LeBron, Love or Jones, yet until his las bucket, Jones was guarding him. Who is to blame for that? Lou? Blatt? LeBron? It just doesn't make sense.

Fun game! If that one Morris twin didn't hit crazy contested shots all game this one woulda been different... (Obviously other factors fall into play). Welcome back, again, LeBron... liked what I saw from him. Onto Thursday! The first win to a streak has to start somewhere... right? ;)

I hated being right, this team cannot play a full game, let alone, a full quarter of defensive basketball. They need to have a moment of reality and dig deep within and call in Dr. Phil or something. I am not making the same old excuse of it being a bunch of new guys or LBJ's first game back, these cats are professionals and if they can't find a way to defend, its on them.

I did see some aggressiveness from LBJ and Smith combined that I absolutely am salivating over when this squad find's a rhythm. Smith will shoot unconsciously and this squad needs that off the bench.

Sigh, a team of this caliber below .500 in mid January. Seriously, this is kind of embarrassing and should have never came to this. All I gotta say is while its disappointing, it's still a work in progress and they just made that progress a tad longer with the recent moves.

If this team loses to the Lakers on Thursday, I am burning this place down...that's for sure.

we go in expecting to lose and we lose. We are never playing 'our game', we are reactionary and passive.

I like the heat I got for saying shumpert and mozgov wouldnt actually take us to the promised land. Clearly they are all we need to get us over that baby hump.

Was there not some way you could view every single play of an NBA game now? I really wanna go back and look at some of the Kyrie's defensive failings.

Hard for them to get us over the hump when they're both not playing.
