Game 4 | Cavs vs. Wolves | Monday, November 4th 7 PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Kevin Love- 8/20 fg, 0/7 3pt
Pekovic 3/12fg
Kevin Martin- 7/16
Rubio- 0/7

Close win or not we played decent defense on a very good offensive team tonight.

I find it fascinating though that a 23 year old 7 footer we just took in the 1st round a year ago can't get on the floor.

Not sure if that is a good thing or not.

#17 overall really isn't that high in the whole scheme of things. Definitely don't tend to find starters there. You're lucky if you find a solid rotation player.

I don't even.

It's hilarious that I thought a ton of guys were playing really well for most of the game, and by the end of it all I can see is CJ Miles. Gee was really hustling, but he had 3 of the worst plays the entire game. Thompson defended extremely well again, but he started missing bunnies. Kyrie I just dunno. Dion was selfish. Bynum, I guess? Jack was almost as bad as Bennett. Bennett was about the same as he has been.

So CJ Miles and Andrew Bynum are the two positives I'll take away from this game. Oh, and the win too, I guess.

And the team defense. Whatever the problems are on offense, the team defense has been really decent so far this season.

The season is early...

For now, I see it as a good sign about the guys in front of him.

Let's remember that nobody is happy about the game tonight but the Cavs still beat arguably the hottest team in the NBA.

The expectations are nice to have.

It was fantastic in the first half. They might have gotten a standing ovation before halftime, but they started mucking up plays at the very wrong time.

The hottest team? Dude...we're 4 games in, lol. Minnesota wasn't even the only unbeaten team...

I didn't say the best team. I didn't say the only unbeaten team. But coming into tonight, there was definitely an argument for Minnesota as the hottest team in the NBA at 3-0 and completely clicking on offense. Coming off a weekend where the Cavs lost to Charlotte and Indiana on the road, tonight wasn't a gimme in the least. People are going to talk about the way this one ended, but the team showed a lot of grit and toughness early on.

Only being 4 games in further advances the positives from tonight, IMO. The Cavs are still learning who they are and are still implementing their identity. Bynum isn't fully healthy and Bennett has yet to show up at all.

They still won.

The d will keep us in ball games. The guys arent yet conditioned to play both ways a full game. I expect us to hover around .500 until the ASG. Then heat up after that. Kyrie is playing a more complete game while struggling to score. No way am I worried 4 games in.

Defense was good the whole game, I thought. It's just really hard to play good defense when you're constantly handing the other team the ball with awful turnovers. When they actually were able to get set in the 4th, they still played well.

We deserved it.

.

We played pretty well for 3 quarters ( 1st and Second a good deal better than the third obviously). Then we played horribly for the last one by being unbelievably sloppy on offense . We're a very young team things like this are going to happen. If we played this game last year we would have lost.

Also yes it's early in the season but Minnesota has beaten two good teams ( Nyk,OKC) badly.

That was absolutely the ugiest single quarter I could have imagined from this team....good thing we kicked their ass the first 3. Put another one in the W column:chuckles:
