I just updated the Game Breakdown with my friend's in-depth scouting report. He's a die-hard Cavs and Blazers fan, and wrote some great stuff, as usual. Enjoy!

Although he has been up and down this season, Oden had his best game yesterday (Monday) with 24 points and 15 rebounds (just 2 fouls) against the Bucks. Hope it tired him out.... Like other shot blockers, the Cavs better go right at him to draw contact and not get fancy.

For what the Blazers do, Pryzbilla is a solid Oden replacement (often better this year). But as Tommy in the game breakdown says, Portland's focal point by far is Roy. Does Sasha cover him at first, with LeBron getting the responsibility later?

I would like to see LeBron attempted to dunk on Oden to open the game :chuckles:

But seriously, we should attack him right away with LeBron (mainly) and see if we can't get him to pick up a foul or two.

If the Cavs couldnt keep Bynum and Pau off the glass they have little hope of stopping Oden, Aldridge and Pryzbilla from dominating the boards.

Lay off Sergio. He is a turnover waiting to happen. Hopefully Mo can keep him under control. Sasha has a tough ask with Roy, but this is the type of physical player he usually excels against. LeBron has a night off with Batum, but we'll see Outlaw out there more minutes. Attack Outlaw defensively. Aldridge is very key here. I'd like to try Andy here but would that just repeat Pau's performance?

Get on the boards, finish inside, control the ball. All the small boring things that win games.

Well I trust the Cavs learned from their loss..they need to come out attacking...and stop the Trailblazers from getting easy shots in the paint..post Lebron down low..

some times i look around other team's boards to see what they say about us, and as expected they all HATE andy with a burning passion. The common nickname is sideshow bob, and they talk about him flopping all over the place uncontrolably, the blazers fans say Oden is gonna pick up 2 fouls in the first 2 trips because of offensive fouls. I love it.

Oden is not the key to the trailblazers at this point. Roy is far more important.
