Game #41 /Cavaliers @ Portland / Wednesday Jan. 16, 2013/ 10 pm ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Irving said "hell no" in the last few minutes.

I thought for sure we were going to let it slip. I had accepted it and began to calm myself. I loved the tenacity and competitive nature of everyone down the stretch.

Like bimbo said - this was ultimate display of growth tonight and it was truly a beautiful thing to witness and I am proud as hell.

The young core is gelling. I love looking past how terrible the veteran retreads are playing and focusing on the young guys. They are starting to become the leaders. That is all I wanted from this season.

On the telecast, A.C. and Fred said a couple times that Kyrie seemed much more vocal tonight, especially during the 4th quarter.

UncleDrew - you got plenty of posts in your thread.

Well, that's because I decided to actually watch and comment on the entire game tonight. :chuckles:

Great win! In other news CJ keeps the no assist streak alive. He has not had an assist since Jan. 5.

Yeah. I don't listen to commentary much; usually, I put on music while I stream but when it heats up I turn it off and listen. It was cool to hear, especially when he was supporting T2 after the foul.

Finally seeing Kyrie live is such a treat. He had the Blazer fans oohing and ahhing all night. After the game, the kids and I met the Blazer announcers (Mike and Mike) and they were very impressed with our team as a whole. Then I got to meet Austin Carr and he is so cool. Then as we started up the steps, we ran into Kyrie's father. Such a cool cat. I do not know how often he travels with the team but Kyrie was playing his heart out tonight. Many Cavs fans in the stands tonight. It was a great night.

After reading the article in the Plain Dealer, it said Kyrie's grandfather brought a bunch of people down from Seattle to Portland. We should make them travel with us everywhere. As a side note, there were several times Kyrie was about to make a move and his damn mask would literally shift so bad he would stop mid dribble and adjust it then continue the play without stopping. Can't wait for the mask to come off.
