35 minutes for Miles and only 1 rebound.

The guy has 1 skill, and even that skill he's never been above average at. He shoots jumpers. That's it. He brings nothing else to the table ever.

Kyrie's body language was pretty poor, at one point he ripped off a strap from his mask in the middle of a play. I think the consistent losing is starting to get to these guys

I loved what I saw in Dion tonight, let's hope that continues. Tyler needs to hit the fucking weights, he's getting bullied out there

These guys are all used to winning, I have no doubt it is weighing on them. I'm sure they understand that a rebuild takes time, but after being one of the best players on the floor and winning for essentially your whole life, jumping to the NBA and landing on a team competing for the worst record in basketball has to be frustrating.

I truly think this is the last year of epic sucking. I don't think they'll make the playoffs next year, but they'll be competitive. Playoffs the year after.

Chuck Jumpers! :chuckles:

I must say, I can deal with him more than I could Jamison. Ugh

This is exactly right. It feels like Alonzo hasn't improved at all from last season, let alone over the course of this season.

We have seen before that when you sign a free agent late, they waste the time they could have used during the summer to improve substantially. Whether to prevent injury before getting a payday or whether lack of motivation or whether uncertainty about the future. Gee said in some reports that he was working out, but it was *nothing* like the jump in play when he got that gig in Poland and was getting hammered with two practices a day before and after games. I realize he can't pick up a European gig again, but working out consistently with the Cavs coaching staff is better than wondering what team he'll be playing with until August.

I don't think hope is lost in terms of further improvement, especially after the Cavs coming draft and off-season --- hopefully he'll have more competition. Having Gee play 15-20 minutes off the bench, or more in special circumstances when there is a tough defensive matchup, will be a good role for him. Counting on him for consistent offense is more than we can ask from him no matter what the circumstances. And counting on him for decent passing and ballhandling is also something we can't do yet. He has been a solid defender, including on players like Lillard that more of his teammates should be able to defend (but can't yet).

In Kyrie's defense someone from this forum did say that when they were at a game it looked like he had to constantly adjust the mask and that it looked like it affected his performance in a negative way.
