Game 43: Bucks @ Cavs, Friday, January 24, 2014, 7:30 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hopefully that burst from the crowd gives him some confidence. Thankfully the douches who booed him were not at the game tonight....quite the opposite.

Bennett must have done nothing except eat snacks from May-October.

I mean, between garbage time and D-league games the talent disparity is not that big. At least they try in the D-league.

Great win. Yes, its only the Bucks, but if you look at this year, we've had few games against any teams were we kept building a lead and not letting them back. You have to get good at being even average and consistently beating the bad teams the right way before you can get good at being good.

Nice to see Dion play well and Clark even contribute a few decent offensive possessions. Good energy throughout and the entire starting unit got to sit and watch for the full 4th quarter.

I'm waiting for Noel to come in and look like a legit number 1 pick to fucking rip Chris Grant off. I don't care if NN has only 5 years of Basketball left but Bennett may never become anything just by reason of his mental weakness.

Sounds like you are wanting the Cavs to fail.

Seems to be a trend in your posting.

Bottom half East playoff teams sans-Brooklyn all losing. Oh look, 30 seconds away from being a game behind Detroit and 2 behind Charlotte.

Yeap we are barely going to make the playoffs and be destroyed in the first round.

Gotta be rough to go out there and be treated like a mascot or Brian Scalabrine :chuckles:

I think he's going to eventually pull out of this rut

Bennett suffering from what every rookie goes through.

The game is too fast. He is trying to catch up. Doesn't help he missed summer league and the offseason. He is still in training camp. Why he is with big league club. Trying to catch up and learn. Probably already working with one of the assistant coaches very closely. Setting up the relationship that will carry into the summer and into next year. The kid is going to be good. You can see the talent.

I really appreciate a crowd that gets behind him. Bennett is so shaken. Could have easily had a couple of dunks but just lost control of the ball. I really think he'll look like a different guy next year.

I *hope* he looks like a different guy next year, but we have to accept that it's a possibility his psyche is permanently damaged.

Not everyone is cut out to play at the highest level of competition. It's possible Bennett is one of those people.

Serious question. Where the hell are you guys seeing this talent? I see a very awkward, undersized kid that doesn't look all that quick despite his lack of size and shows no shooting touch.

Is the talent that everyone sees primarily in the youtube clips still? Because I see nothing on the court.

I'm not trying to be a dick and pile on. I see this said a lot so I want someone to walk me through exactly what it is they just saw on the court that screamed "talent." I'm missing it.

That first sentence was in no way, shape or form a criticism.

What sentence? The part wanting Nerlens to look like a number 1 pick? Because that is a criticism of Grant's inability to scout.
