Game 46 | Cavs @ Knicks | Thursday, January 30th, 2014 | 8:00 PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You shouldn't even try to engage him in serious conversation. He just spouts nonsense half the time. He thinks Kyrie Irving is the most selfish player ever, but then talks about getting a top-3 draft pick for him in the most talented draft in arguably the last 10 years.

Your ability to comprehend fully developed ideas is lacking.

Absolutely demoralizing game.. I've watched every game so far, this is the worst by far imo... so terrible. and despite being a blowout game for the entire second half, delly, dion, bennett still saw extremely limited minutes. Not playing them normally is very shortsighted, but in a blowout, its absolutely idiotic.

Not to mention this is a national game. I mean if theres one game that I would expect the players to play hard in, it would be this one. Coaching, players, its all terrible.

I've been a pretty big CG supporter.. but his time here probably is and should be over.

Embarrassing.

I feel like I have been thinking that after every game recently, that it has been the most embarrassing game I have ever seen.

CJ Miles was 3-4. CJ Miles played 13 minutes.

In a game against a team that Miles is perfect for, a team that plays small, he plays 13 minutes.

You just have to give up on this coach.

Bennett has played most of the half. Simms has been decent. The only guy on the roster playing our defense the correct way.

If we played Mike Brown's defense the right way it would be Orlando all over again

worse loss of the season.........

again

Crazy that less than a year ago Kyrie was seen by most on here as the most untouchable player in the NBA behind Durant and Lebron, and after playing 40 games under Mike Brown we want to trade him for almost anything. I would just say it's a lot easier and cheaper to find a new coach than it is to find a new star.

Irving was massively overhyped his first 2 years in the NBA. At no point has he ever been even close to a star in his short career, but people have called him that because he has a sexy game...but it doesn't result in wins. Players like Irving are not how you win. I'd trade him for a top 3 lottery pick in this year's draft.

Forget star...I'd trade him for 3 Anderson Varejao caliber players. At least those kind of guys you can see directly contribute to wins.

Ugh this team is playing like ass right now.

On the bright side, if it continues into late February I'll be able to display my MS Paint skills again. :chuckles:

I agree. For the last 2 years I have been wanting to trade him for DeMarcus Cousins, but unfortunately that ship has sailed...they would reject it now. I'd trade Irving for Greg Monroe or Drummond (I assume they wouldn't trade Drummond) if we can't get a top lottery pick...well I'd take Drummond over a top lottery pick.

PGs are generally overrated, especially ones with limited passing skills, ball hog tendancies, and no defense like Irving. Plus the injury problems and he is not one of those PGs that impact the boards like Kidd or Rondo either.

Yeah, props to Mike for letting him finish the game. Still, in a game like this, I would expect more than 23 for AB (well, not really expected considering he wasn't in the rotation at all until recently), 25 for Dion, 9 for Delly, 14 for Zeller. Jack played so bad, why not put in Delly? Dion?

when Irving or cj went out.. oh god we cant put dion on the starting lineup up it would disrupt the bench too much.

AV goes down and Zeller starts.. but he doesnt get to really play center.. Thompson gets put on the center or put out on the perimeter. and Cj doesnt get any time instead playing the redundant jarret jack with both Irving and Waiters. who promptly freezes both of them out.

the veterans arent mentoring the young guys the young guys apparently are mentoring the vets. on top of that zeller doesnt get the ball and hes a god damn spot up shooter at heart.

its just doesnt make since.. did zeller and thompson not practice together all season? really? neither one looks like they know what the other one is doing or what they are supposed to do with the other guy.
