Game 46: Warriors @ Cavs, Tuesday, January 29, 2013, 7:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Honestly, maybe Waiters should play the point and Kyrie should play the two on offense.

It was bound to happen eventually. embrace the suck fellas.

Dion should have been sent in at about 8 minutes to go. I just realized in this game that Dion looks to pass more than Kyrie when he drives.

Some individual players had very bad games, but the defense was a complete team failure. So was not being able to attack a zone played by a severely undermanned team (on their 4th game in 5 nights).

I want to see progress the next time they face a zone. And obviously the team defense always has had room for improvement.

I wonder how much longer Dion will continue the trend of good/bad/good/bad games. Anyways, other than Kyrie our draft picks had really nice games tonight. Zeller recovered well after his first shot airball, Thompson put up 18 and 11, and waiters dished 7 assists to go with his 18 points. Nice.

My sense is that Dion thinks pass-first, which sometimes means he doesn't take advantage of golden opportunities for himself. Kyrie is definitely score-first, which also sometimes means he doesn't see golden opportunities for others. They both have room to improve. It will be pretty exciting when they figure it out.

Alonzo Gee is becoming a problem. I'm questioning whether or not he's a guy you can put in an 8-man rotation. For instance, Zeller isn't a starting quality center, yet he seems to at least do SOMETHING in every game. Alonzo is having more and more of these complete no-show games, and it's worrisome. He hasn't improved at all, and I'm beginning to think he's regressing.

EDIT: He's made 2 3's in his last nine games, which is one more than I thought. This just can't be the case from a wing-man. By any means necessary, we need a starting SF in here next year who is a good spot-up shooter from the corner. If we just had a reliable guy who could go stand in that corner and wait for the pass from Dion or Kyrie, our offense would look so much better.
