Game 47 | Cavs (26-20) vs Portland (32-13) | January 28th, 2015 | 7pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lebron still listed as starter on the humungotron but not warming up

Feed the ball to Love in the post. And force some open 3's for JR and Kyrie... just hope the shots fall
Agree--and feed Moz low as well.

It's also the oldest he's ever been. And after 4 title runs. This is Lebron 2015. I'll still take it.

Yes that goes without saying for anybody lol.

I hope this doesn't end up like before where the Cavs had a 8 game winning streak back in December and it ended because LeBron had to sit out vs OKC. That pretty much destroyed the Cavs' momentum

Exactly. Lamarcus denied freaking surgery that was supposed to put him out 2 months to keep playing. LeBron can't play with a "sore wrist" in an important time where we need to keep this momentum going.
The important games are in June.

Just changed it to Marion starting over lebron on the scoreboard

This streak is important for the team going forward and there's no way we win this game without him.

I totally get this. But to me, the regular season, especially for this talented but still forming team, is just a long warmup session for the playoffs. When they get in, and if they do well, this game will be entirely forgotten.

Win or lose actually.

Most can agree with me it has been flat out depressing watching the Cavs without Lebron this season in the games he has missed. I hope it changes tonight.

I really hope he plays on Friday for Simmy.

Hopefully Kyrie plays with the same aggression on defense and doesn't think he has to make up the Lebron scoring load since he is out tonight.

True. I realize I'm overreacting but I'm just disappointed he isn't playing. This is a big game in my eyes and I bet he could play through this type of injury.

I think this is a great chance for the Cavs to really prove they have turned a corner. We all know how they looked when he went out before. If they win this game, this team will have a heck of a lot of confidence knowing LeBron isn't doing it all by himself. LeBron seems to think they have really improved mentally, so what better way than to see the team play again without him.

I find it the most interesting. It's a great barometer for where the surrounding talent is at mentally and physically. Let's see who can hold the fort down.
