Well, Guys, whatever the outcome will be today, this is one of this year's essential games. This is what all true sportsmanlike basketball fans wait for.
I have been a Lakers fan since the 70's, and I am happy to be in on the ground floor of what might be the birth of a true rivalry between two great teams. The Cavaliers, and the Lakers. For too long our Eastern rival has been considered to be only that team in Boston (I don't pronounce their name).
Today we will have the opportunity to assist in another chapter of a quintessential basketball matchup, that between the physical dominance and complete game of Lebron James, against the savvy cunning of the old veteran Kobe Bryant. It will be interesting to say the least.
It would be ridiculous to wish luck to both teams, somebody has to lose. It is obvious where my allegiance lies. However, I can say this, I wish for everybody involved, of both fandoms, that this game will be a good clean game, a close game, and that whatever the outcome, that it may become part of a collective history of a nascent rivalry between our two proud franchises!
