Game 5: Cavs @ Warriors, Wednesday, November 7, 2012, 10:30PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
In order for Tristan to be an effective big man, that needs to turn into 3-5 or 4-5.

One of them being the last second shot.

I don't know about you, but I don't expect him to be an effective high % big man at this point in his career. His first full season in the NBA, coming in as a raw offensive talent? I'm liking what I am seeing so far. Yeah he can be frustrating to watch sometimes, but most bigs are.

hopefully we can play defense to start the half and get rid of that lead

Come one now, Klay is the better talent, by far.

I'm not arguing who the better player is. I'd take Dion 9 times out of 10, so I don't care.

I'm saying it's retarded to bitch about Tristan, especially today, given the game he's having. I think he is playing solid tonight. There are obviously a few things he could improve upon, but he's playing solid.

Every time Tristan gets the ball is like a wasted possession. If he isn't getting spoonfed wide open dunks he is either getting fouled he is getting blocked. Both of those scenarios have resulted in 0 points more often than not

Great to see Dion play just 11 minutes in the first half after a career game.

Let's all talk about the positive!

Thank fuck we passed on Harrison Barnes.

Enough Tristan, let's get Luke Walton back in.

Raw offensive talent?

TT's role with the team is much larger now as well. We can no longer hide him minutes with vets like Jamison or AV. Oddly enough in tonight's starting lineup gee was the player with the most NBA experience in his 4th season.

TT's role is a lot bigger than it was a year ago. There will be some struggles early on, but if you guys are looking for a solid scoring threat from the 4 look else where. TT is here to bring the defensive intensity and to block shots. Almost a AV replacement in time. Hopefully sooner than later.

I'd take Dion as well, no doubt.

But fans are going to bitch about a certain something that they disagreed with, we love to play "I told ya so" card. We all do. You can be optimistic about TT all you want, I hope the kid turns it around, preferably a complete 180.

Not sure if anyone has said this but maybe Scott should put Gee on Curry in the second half? Scott insisted Gee is one of the best defenders in the league, and checked CP on Monday

At least Barnes hasn't shown me anything to become concerned about passing him up for Waiters

You can give your opinion all day.

I would question your knowledge of what the definition of "young high energy PF project who will need time to develop". That's how he was sold when we picked him and I don't think 71 pro games is the point where you give final judgement on a guy described as such.

Now you can hate on the concept of taking him #4 in the 2010 draft, but as far as his profile, so far he is in that development bubble of the first 2-3 years.

That's a fair response.

But considering he is developing, shouldn't we see some actual development by now? The main flaws in his game are all there, just like day 1 (FTs, offensive moves, defensive rebounding).
