Game 50: Magic @ Cavs | Feb. 8th | 7:30 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Mods have warned people in the past for bringing negative attitudes about winning into these threads.

I don't think seeing what other people think about certain decisions is "bringing a negative attitude about winning" until you make it out to be. Note I didn't say "DAMN WE"RE GOING TO WIN I HATE THIS" I said does anyone have an issue with winning with our bench. That is looking for a response from others, whether they agree or disagree.

It's not, however, an attempt to have someone make assumptions about what I want or don't want or what threads I should or shouldn't be in. Thanks.

This Leuer trade added some punch...Sp8s with 18 and Ellington with 14. If we want to lose we will have to move some players, but I am enjoying it now.

Kyrie with 24 pts 6 rebs 8 asts
Dion with 15 pts on 6/10 shooting
Tristan 17 pts on 7/11 shooting

These games are why I watch the cavs.

So Waiters...60% shooting tonight. Would have been 66% had he not taken that pointless drive with 30 seconds left and just threw the ball at the rim. I like it.

Stop trying to be a smartass, its not working

If the bench is keeping the lead, you keep them in until they're not.

Yea I agree with this strategy when your main objective is to win as many games, get into the playoffs etc. I think the main cavs objective at this point is to develop their young talent, accepting wins they may earn as valuable experience for later but avoiding useless wins. From that strategic perspective keeping in a bench to win a game is a waste of time.

Anyway, good win tonight. Game became a 3 point game right about when Kyrie came back in, and our allstar took over again and won it.

Thanks buddy, I'll keep that in mind..

Weak 2nd half from Waiters. To much chucking and not enough attacking. Worst half in some time.

The thing is he was wide open on two of those misses. Irving dew the d and passed it to him, and he bricked one really bad. Just not sure that jump shot will ever be great, it still needs a lot of work off the ball when he catches and shoots.

The team is turning the corner. I think if they can keep speight s you have a perennial 6th man of the year candidate. as far as his play its not really surprising. his game has evolved and he played behind brand and then randolph. You really cant hold that against him.

the biggest thing about speights has been his consistency and his communication. he is really enjoying himself out there.

as far the game goes Orlando was shooting the ball well. once they hit their shooting lull and the cavs started attacking the basketball defensively they were able to keep the team down.

Ellington is Anthony Parker when he used to be good. That dude is a keeper.

for the pro-tankers, don't worry. pistons, wizards, hornets and toronto have all won today.

I wonder if Grant will try and negotiate a deal with speights before the deadline. Just to ballpark where he is at.

Next three games are all home: Denver, Minnesota, San Antonio. That's a rough stretch of games going into the break, but if we can be competitive in these games till the end, win 1-2, then maybe we really are starting to turn the corner.

I didn't watch the game, but the stat line made me happy. I know it's a long way in the future, but I'm still interested to see how TT plays alongside Varejao. TT really started to hit his stride when Varejao went out, so its either a coincidence of timing or the fact that they have similar styles of play.
