Game 52: Kings @ Cavs, Tuesday, February 11, 2014, 7:00 PM EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yeah tt had butter fingers and is still figuring out his body positioning on shots after just switching hands but how the hell can people complain about

5/10 16points and 13 rebounds???

Can't complain a bit, but give me a call when his season averages hit 16 and 13 - or anything close.

I think Tristan is a good player... For our bench.

Very limited offensively, will never be a post threat, and our starting 5 will continue to lack that dynamic with him in the lineup. It's nothing personal.

Thompson's looks like is isn't neither left nor right handed, Zeller is 7 foot but plays like he is a midge, Sergey would have been better off staying overseas this year and I'm not even sure Felix is alive anymore.

Why even make this post

TT ain't great but his work ethic means he we always be valuable

Zeller has been playing well this season, he is a smart mobile big man with a smooth stroke

Sergey hasn't even gotten a chance and nothing besides his frame is evidence that he came over early

Felix was a second round draft pick who is, if anything, a smart hard working guy who is great to have at practice...about all you can ask for in a second rounder

So firing Grant was a mistake?

Not getting into redrafting debates. Just saying Bennett playing better doesn't mean Gilbert shouldn't have fired Grant.

You're the one who made the initial comment, and then threw out names like Karasev and Felix to bolster your claim, and that just doesn't hold water.

Did I say anything like that? Why the straw man?

The whole situation is incredibly strange and I posted that earlier in this thread. This team and coach as assembled by Grant can play great basketball and we are set up well for the future.

He has made some questionable draft picks, and a questionable head coach selection (questionable because the team looks good when they do what brown wants, seemingly), and not going to blame him at all for the JJ, Bynum, Clark offseason.

Just strange that they are playing so well after he got canned.

So happy for Bennett. I really don't care about anything else.

Everyone knows Grant was fired because of Mike Brown, not the roster he put together. The roster was too good to underachieve this bad.

It's far from perfect, but we shouldn't be one of the worst teams in the NBA. The Bobcats for example have nothing but shit, we aren't that bad off in terms of talent.

Wins will come eventually, even though I am still skeptical of Mike Brown. This team might suck me back into it if we keep seeing positive gains from our struggling young players. Bennett, in particular, was someone I was concerned about considering how he started, and the circumstances of his drafting (weak conference, one year in college, injury, etc). a double-double performance with confidence after the cringe worthy stuff early on in the season... promising.

Happens all the time after players get someone fired. This season all hinges on March barring any slide until then. The "honeymooon" phase will be over and the scheduling is terrible.

This team is playing with much better energy. So much more watchable. Props to AB for a solid game.

One thing I noticed as of late is the fact that the rotations are based more on what's going on the court. If a player is hot then MB is leaving him on longer. Riding the hot hand, that's what I always hated, the robotic and fixed subs.

This. And I noticed the past few games, if our opponent got on a run he'd actually call a timeout to try and cool them down.
