Game 56 | Bobcats vs. Cavaliers | February 19, 2010 | 7:00 EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
WE NEED Z

Still believe we shoulda held out for Amar'e. Today is just another reason why. Obviously I think he'll improve, but we're truly lacking the presence that Z gave us, and Andy was trying to play Z's role with those jumpers etc. We coulda gotten him had we not chickened out...

Ever consider Ferry and Kerr were in cahoots with the Jamison acquisition?

I wonder if the reality of Z being gone has had any ill emotional effects on the team as a whole that has carried over to these last two games. I don't want to over dramatize it or anything but they are human..

not to mention Z has been a rock in the lineup for how many years. plus he is one of the absolute true centers in the league. im not saying this game would have ended differently but i cant wait till he is back, and i think the team is probably thinking the same thing

Yes, I'm sure that the loss of Z, who just happened to be on the team for our prior losses to the Nuggets and to the Bobcats, was the reason for the loss.

Give Jamison a break. It was his first game with the Cavs- the team as a whole didn't bring their A game. It's crazy how some of you now think trading for Jamison was a bad idea. This was one game. He brings a lot to this team, just let him settle in!

This. He'll be fine, he needs to get acclimated. Even great players fall into shooting slumps for portions of a season. The rest of the team played like shit. Tired? They just had seven days off, and hadn't played a road game in a month. That lack of effort was inexcusable. At least AJ gave some.

Only 2 things I care about from this game:

* Possibly facing Charlotte in the playoffs (1-3 record vs them this year)
* Homecourt battle with LAL, the loss hurts

Besides that, not particularly worried.

Same here, first game or not this is exactly why I wanted Amare, even when his jumper isn't working he's going to be taking high percentage shots in the paint, if Jamisons shot is off well you're out of luck.

I am sure It does they just have to know he will be back... I am sure not matter what anyone said, The team as a whole talked about this. Anything we hear from LeBron and or Z is them playing the game and not trying to look obvious. but the rotation took a hit and Brown seems to have no idea what he Is doing after the break, I am sure It will work... I think this game has to be a wake up call. they have to move no matter what... Shaq appears to be the only one doing anything positive right now.

Our new acquisition

Wizards new acquisition:

A. Thornton 32:20 7-12 0-1 7-9 +12 3 2 5 1 1 2 1 4 0 21

Sick of hearing about the learning the plays and all that chemistry shit!! And Washington played against Denver!

Why Cleveland, why?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?

Why on god's earth is AP playing so much when Delonte is 10 times the better player?

Not to mention, playing Boobie so much when we needed size to match-up with their huge wings.

I still have plenty of faith in this team, but things could get ugly while MB adjusts to AJ and guys coming back from injury.

With the way we are playing, we are staring our first 3 game losing streak in the last 2 years right in the face.

Agree completely.

Thornton obviously played so well because the presence of the almighty Z is in Washington.

2 lost in a row..... Bt no need to panic, just like in the begining of the year, we just need to blend in with the new add and injured players coming back, we are still the best in the league
