Game 56 | Cavs @ Raptors | February 21, 2014 7:00 PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
While I am not going to disagree. It still has no effect on tonight's game and the mins he got. Personally I see Zeller being the one to lose mins when Andy is back.

But look, Zeller only played 20 minutes. Hawes came in and first game played 6 more minutes than Zeller and 11 more than Bennett. Put Simms back on this team instead of Hawes, and he's gonna get 10-12 minutes, which means Bennett gets more and Zeller gets more.

That doesn't mean that it's the right move, and it certainly doesn't mean we can't complain about it.

You knew who the head coach was before the trade was made, why did you expect anything different?

I was honestly expecting a loss coming in. Toronto is definitely not a bad team (3rd in the East I believe), and we're on the road, and we had won six games in a row before hand.

Couple that with the roster shakeup and the fact that we didn't have Dion, Varejao, or Miles...

However, Kyrie played horribly and the fact that Anthony Bennett only got 15 minutes is completely INEXCUSABLE! Like I've said in the past, Mike Brown is one of the worst coaches in the league in adjusting to adversity.

I think our offense just sucks. Too many damn screens if you ask me, I'd be happier if we just ran Kyrie iso for 48 mins. We're running screens on top of screens on top of screens, not a fun style to watch.

What difference does it make if we expected this or not?

Makes it hard to complain about a rotation when you knew it was coming and advocated for the trade anyway.

Like, you probably shouldn't be saying "I really like this trade!!" and follow it up with "but only if MIke Brown figures out the rotations..." Well, you knew Mike Brown would prefer Hawes over the young guys, so that should have factored in to whether or not the trade was worth it.

You do know Hawes is 25 right? It's not like he is 30 and on backed of his career.

What if I didn't advocate for the trade?

Then why are you responding to me?

Clearly talking to people who liked the Hawes trade while being simultaneously upset about Bennett losing minutes. Obvious by-product of the trade.

Uh oh! The patented Mike Brown Third Quarter strikes again!

I didn't think that was clear at all. That's why I responded. I couldn't understand why we couldn't complain about the rotations all of the sudden. :chuckles:

could be wrong, but Bennett only got 17-18 minutes against ORL, so we can act like Hawes ate into Bennett's minutes all we want. when Andy comes back, Zeller is most likely the odd man out considering CLE was trying to deal him. Bennett will continue to get 14-20min per night.

Any night that Bennett plays < 30 minutes is a wasted night.

Dude was ballin'!

Bennett not getting enough minutes cost us the game.

That is a new one

With Andy's history, I wouldn't bank on him coming back any time soon. I'll be surprised if he does come back soon. The same thing happens every year. He gets hurt right around the deadline with a seemingly minor injury that blows up into something much worse and then he misses an extended amount of time.
