Game 58| Cavs @ Hawks | March 1st 2009 | 8:00pm EST

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Wow, lots of optimism. I am not so sure about this game. We have had 2 games in a row with absolute horrible shooting. Although our guys did pick it up in the second half, it was mostly Lebron, nobody else really hit a shot until the third quarter. I know people keep saying how Houston defended, that was bull crap. We missed open shots, lots of them. If the good shoting we saw in the 3rd quarter of the spurs game does not continue, this will be a lose.

Gets osme points low from Z and Andy. Play good defense. I think we want to get JJ some burn. Let him run. Transition with him and Lebron can do damage to the hawks. Get the W.

Aren't the Cavs #1 in the EC since they have a better winning %. Why does the chart say 1/2 back from the Celtics.

You're right, the one I had from last night was incorrect. I have updated it to reflect Cavalier Eastern Conference superiority.

Thanks, should be a good game tonight. Atlanta is always a threat with their athletic team that can go off at any moment.

Bibby might not even play.

I hope LBJ doesn't party too hard tonight. For those of you that don't know LBJ is hosting a party in Atl.

This got guy and a few other are getting sued over claiming that Lebron was hosting that party...

Math, they have 2 more victories, we have on less loss...thus they are ahead technically.

I wonder if Lebron's attorney has to send out cease and desist orders all the time because I remember getting a flyer for a party in 2007 while Lebron was with Team USA in Vegas yet they said he would make an appearance.

Anyway this is a huge game especially because it's a road game against a team we might play in the playoffs.

I hate that technically crap, no actually we are ahead, they can have 10 more wins than us, but if we have less in the lose column we are ahead. That is the only thing Boston can not control, because we have 1 less lose, we control our destiny, we do not have to rely on boston losing, we only have to rely on us winning.

This is no cake walk for the Cavs. If they come out and set the tone early they should be able to win the game, but if they come out lackadaisical then they their work cut out for them. The hawks are so athletic and that creates problems for a lot of teams. If we don't rebound then we cant win. We have to hustle, rebound, and always have a hand up. If we run the floor we make their starters tired and force Woodson to look to their poor bench. Hopefully everybody shows up not just Lebron. Prediction: Cavs beat Hawks 100-91

Lets Go Cavs!

Great preview Splitz!

On to the game. The Hawks have alot of young athletic players on their team which can be tough to guard at times. Then they got Joe Johnson that can fill it up from anywhere on the floor and when he gets it going its hard to stop him. Im looking forward to a 30-12-7 game from LeBron or along those lines. Mo around 20-25, West around 15-20, Z 15-10 game and Andy about 10-8.

I think its going to come down to the bench though. J.J, Boobie, Wally, etc need to step their games up and contribute consistantly when LBJ isnt on the court.

Should be an interesting game. Is it 8 yet?

Go Cavs!!!

No, it's all about winning %. If the season ended today (ignore the Celtics loss) Cleveland would be the #1 seed with a higher winning %.
