Game 6: New Orleans Pelicans (3-2) @ Cleveland Cavaliers (2-3) | November 10, 2014 | 7:00 PM EST

Get Love to keep that dude away from the basket.

Hopefully AV can annoy Davis just enough to win. No way to contain the man. Have a feeling we will see Haywood's first minutes on the court as well.

I hope Varejao steps up in this game. He has looked a step slow on defensive rotations so far this year.

No one else worries me on this team though. Just don't give Gordon much breathing room defensively.

Seems fairly straightforward: force Davis out of the paint by having to cover Love at the 3 point line. Otherwise if they switch Asik onto Love, have Love exploit the same with the advantage to take him off the dribble. If they put Anderson on him, post Love on him to force the double.

Defense is going to be a different question as I'd expect AV and TT to have the main assignment but Love is very good counter to Davis on offense.

Pioneer mentioned this - Ryan Anderson is a guy to watch out for. He is one of those guys who can string together a bunch of 3's off the bench and swing the game. Our bigs need to stay attached to him.

Need to get back in transition D as well as guys like Davis and their guards push it and our transition D has been lacking this year.

Since Love is such a good rebounder: you could also run a screw it lineup and put Love at C with Lebron at PF. Davis will have a mismatch on whoever guards him but it will be funny having the rest of NO trying to guard that lineup. Anderson on James isn't going to work and putting Salmons at the 4 will make them real small

Have a feeling we're gonna lose this one.

I am a bit bitter about the rumor going around about Love wanting to bail out after the season to go to the Lakers...is this just a joke and made up shit that someone is throwing at the wall? Because if that's the case, the NBA should cancel the trade and send every piece back to every team if Love doesn't re-sign as well (like he said he would..if LeBron came back). We should get Wiggins back if Love does leave.

hopefully, everything that was supposed to happen opening night, happens tonight. ie cavs win by 20+ and the place goes crazy. however, being the first game back from a west coast trip probably prevents that from happening. I think they'll find a way to win, 99-92.
