To me this game is 100% win.

Major contributions and growth from young guys like Hickson, Samuels, Eyenga, Harongdy, and Sessions.

We still likely will end up with the worst overall record(can't play the Knicks every game:gap and even if we end up with the 2 or 3rd slot thats ok with me. How many years has the teams with the best odds to win the lottery actually won it?

As for Baron, its really interesting. If he truly wants to rejuvenate his career, he could either play himself into being a player we don't want to get rid by providing leadership and teaching the young guys, or he could play so well that other contending teams will want him for his play and not his contract and give up good talent/picks in return.
